If you follow the directions and don't let it run [out] when you're not using it, it actually works!!! Mosquitos in DC are off the chart. This is the only product I've found which allows me to use my summer patio!

Burns through too many mosquito pads!

These refill pads really work!! I purchased the actual Thermacell mosquito killer device!It is Awesome!! After using the initial repellant pads in the machine, I purchased the refill pack!Great Value! No odor! They kill the biting critters!!

This stuff works, and we like the Thermacell product, but its pricey, the mats don't last nearly as long as they claim, at least in our experience, and because of that, it would be nice if they sold the mats separately. We have a ton of fuel sitting around and never enough of the mats. Not much of another choice, though, I suppose.
