My mother used this in a lot of her baking. She's German and a lot of her recipes call for vanilla sugar. There's not much in these packages but a little goes a long way. Mixing a packet with regular sugar is so good

I’ve always used regular white sugar for baking. In fact, I’ve never heard of vanilla-sugar until recently. A baking channel influencer uses it. Apparently, this is a common sugar in Germany and other parts of Europe. Can’t find it anywhere in my area of the Midwest/USA. Decided to try it. Added it to granulated white sugar to make chocolate chips; and to banana bread batter. My family asked what I did differently: Adding a couple of tablespoons to a recipe (while deducting a couple of tablespoons of white sugar), added so much depth of flavor. It makes a notable difference! I don’t reduce the amount of vanilla, even though this sugar includes vanilla. It is truly pastries - next level. Highly recommend this vanilla-sugar. Lastly: sugar packets should be enclosed in a sealed plastic wrap like in my photo. My first purchase from this seller, was not. I probably should have returned it, but thought it was the sellers’ mode of shipping. I was wrong. Make sure your packets arrive in a sealed plastic packet.

I bought this to quickly hide personal information on paper to put these papers in the trash without shredding, which is time consuming.

I haven’t tried it but I will soon. Great price.
