The Republic of Tea Blackberry Sage Black Tea, 50 Count

This tea is wonderful: fragrant & flavorful with just the right amount of caffeine to combat the afternoon slump. My grocery store no longer carries this brand so I’m delighted to be able to order it online.

This tea tastes amazing! Most flavored teas taste like Kool aid to me. This is smooth, with awesome flavor. I got it and immediately made ice tea with it. Buying more for sure! Sending some to my tea loving daughter too! Great product and worth the price! Thank you!

I bought this tea thinking I was just getting a nice, calming beverage. What I actually received was a leafy intervention for my entire personality. The Republic of Tea Blackberry Sage blend tastes like someone took a blackberry, had a serious philosophical conversation with a sage plant, and then decided to turn that enlightenment into a hot drink. It’s smooth, slightly fruity, slightly herbal, and makes me feel like I should be journaling my thoughts instead of doom-scrolling at 11:47 PM. Now I’ve started acting like a person who “has a tea routine.” I sit down, brew a cup, and stare into the distance like I’m solving life’s mysteries—when in reality I’m just trying to remember if I already microwaved my lunch. Also, 100 tea bags is dangerous. That’s not a supply, that’s a commitment. At this point, I’m not sure if I own the tea or if the tea owns me. Pros: - Tastes like emotional stability with a hint of blackberry - Sage makes you feel wiser than you actually are - 100 bags = long-term relationship, no awkward commitment talks needed - Works equally well for “productive mornings” and “I need to rethink my entire life” evenings Cons - May cause sudden personality shift into “tea person” - Hard to go back to sad office coffee after this - You will start judging other beverages silently - Shelf space will slowly be taken over by your new identity Bottom Line: This isn’t just tea—it’s a lifestyle upgrade you didn’t fully agree to but are now emotionally dependent on. Highly recommend if you want to feel slightly more refined while still being fundamentally unhinged underneath.

It's a good tea. It's fruity and earthy without being pungent. It isn't bitter or tannin-y or anything like that. The smell is also quite lovely, and the tea itself is quite smooth. My previous friend had put me onto this tea brand, as the quality is quite good, and she herself is a huge fan of this tea. All of that being said, I'm not a huge fan of the flavor profile. It's good, but it's just not my favorite (I'm learning I don't care for fruity teas, I guess). You get a lot of tea bags for the price, so the value is great, and it could be a great gift if you have a tea lover in your life who likes fruity teas.

I don't know what made me try this flavor. I guess it was the "blackberry" part. I'm SOOOO GLAD I DID!!!! It's WONDERFULLY DELICIOUS!!!! A word of caution though, if you're not used to highly flavorful, somewhat concentrated tea, this may be too intense for you. In that case, don't let it steep very long. Maybe 45 seconds or so. This flavor releases it's full intensity VERY quickly! I find it so wonderfully flavorful that I don't feel the need to add anything! No sugar, no honey, no milk or cream, nothing! The blackberry is far more pronounced than the sage. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure if I can actually taste the sage at all, but no matter, I love it just the way it is!!! All my friends that I've turned onto this tea have loved it! I highly recommend you trying it too!!! Just remember, it might be too intense, so steep briefly until you get accustomed to it's strong flavor.

I liked it but didn’t completely love it. The blackberry flavor was soft, not real strong. The sage was also very soft and almost not noticeable. When I have fruit teas, I like a stronger flavor their ginger peach is outstanding, and I was expecting it to be similar in strength of flavor, but still a good tea overall.

I have tried about 7 of these. I love every one but the plum one. This one I could drink every day all day! Strong enough and amazing! I was afraid I would get this weird “sage” flavor because I’m not familiar with it but I don’t. Don’t hesitate. I also love the mango Ceylon and the black raspberry!

I make ice tea most days and I add two of these to a family size bag of Lipton. I gave a worker a glass for the road once, and he knocked on the door and said that was the best tea he had ever had. I used to buy it at a local grocery store, but they sold out the new owners stopped carrying it. I am glad that I found it on Amazon.
