Compact and functional design. Good water flow.
Perfect compact design to carry in my trailer for that necessary fresh water transfer. Tested it in my tub and it moved water quite well for my needs. It is not silent, but the noise level is acceptably minimal. Good solution for me and maybe also for your personal liquid transfer needs. Don't use for anything caustic or flammable, such as petrol/gas.

Great value
Works better than I anticipated, love the option to use battery or plug in.

I ordered this because I had an 80% chance I would need a good pump in the remote location I was in.
I purchased this as insurance because I was pretty sure I was going to need it in the remote vacation location we were going to. I've got so many Ryobi tools and every one is excellent. Turned out I didn't need this pump where I hoped I didn't have to, so it worked out fine. Now I've got a brand new Ryobi battery pump for all my other needs, boating, watering our big garden, maybe powering a summer kid's sprinkler from lake water! This item was kinda spendy, but it's for a real specific need, pumping water in remote locations. 5 stars. Jay in Seattle.

Best value for your money in the market
You won't be disappointed, just keep in mind is a Rioby, is affordable but intended for a regular household (no PRO use), If you are looking for a versatile, easy tu use, easy tu carry waterpump look no further, this is it. And to be honest, I even stress it a little bit, with a 6-Amp battery I'm able to pump around 250 gallons (in about one hour) from a water tank to a plastic container @ 90ft away at about 10ft inclined hill. I fill two of these (500 gallons with 2 6-Amp batteries) every week and had no issues with this little guy. Yes, one disadvantage is that the water outlets are made of plastic and might wear out faster, I'm preventing this potential issue with two short (and cheap) brass extensions I picked up at Home Depot just like I show on attached pictures, I know it looks funny but I believe this waterpump will pay itself with many hours of service.

Works well but a bit noisy
It works well but it is a bit loud. I also wish the connections were brass and not plastic. The plastic will eventually wear out from use so I permanently added some quick release connections so I would not have to screw the hoses on and off the plastic connections. I do like it and would buy again and I like the versatility of using the batteries I already have. It also has the option to plug in which adds to the usefulness in case my batteries are dead.

If you are a Ryobi, gardening on well water and use a tank....
My wife uses this to water plants using water we truck in during droughts so we don't run the well down. Likes: Uses my Ryobi One+ batteries The included mount attaches to the bed liner on my tailgate, making it easy to remove the pump when using the truck for other purposes Has protection circuitry to prevent overheating and burnout 4ah batteries last long enough to empty a 210 gallon tank Dislikes: The hose couplings are plastic and are angled up. It is difficult to attach garden hose using the threaded coupling and it is likely to lead to premature wear and leaking. Most hoses sag and kink on the outlet side when attached and need support before starting the pump.

does not work
did not work from the first attempted use. I primed the pump as instructed but it never worked. I have had other ryobi tools which were just fine, but avoid this item.

Nice pump, poor customer service
The pump comes with a hose, but the hose is hopelessly kinked from being shoved in the box. It constricts the flow so barely any water goes through. I tried getting a replacement from Ryobi, but good luck ever reaching anyone. I'll buy the fittings and make my own replacement hose I guess. So 5 stars for the pump, and 1 star for service.
