I've had better gloves and I'm going to end up tossing these and buy a different brand. They're not very thick and they don't help much, especially while using the row machine. I was trying to avoid blisters but they begin to form regardless. They helped somewhat and decided to row without the gloves since I was forming blisters. In addition, the zip tie was clasped to close to the end strings of the gloves therefore I had to cut the strings. I do not recommend unless you're doing lightweights. They worked for lightweights, hence the 1 star. I ordered a small and I have small hands and they're a little too tight. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ my calluses are gone, very comfortable *by N***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2017* I have been working out at the gym six days a week, and between the weights and the exercise machines, I have been developing calluses, which I find uncomfortable. I wanted something light, that would let air circulate (because my hands sweat a lot), and that would have a good grip. I have very small hands, so I need a workout glove that grips well. These gloves have a nylon mesh on the back of the hands, so that air circulates well. The palms have leather pads and little silicone dots to give a good grip. The thumbs have a soft fabric so that if necessary, I can wipe a drip of sweat or a running nose; however, I try not to do that. I have the smallest hands I have ever seen in an adult. I have always had to wear children's-sized gloves in the winter. So, first of all, I purchased the Small size. I was worried because these gloves don't come in Extra Small. Well, the gloves fit fine, but after working out and having sweaty hands, I couldn't get the gloves off! It was a real process, and took a long time. So, then I ordered the Medium size. Medium fits well, and I am able to get them off. There is a little tab of fabric on the back of the middle finger, which helps in pulling them off. So I would recommend that you size up when ordering. Someone else wrote that you need to be careful that the Velcro strap doesn't stick onto the mesh part, and they are right, so I am careful to close the Velcro wrist strap as soon as I get the gloves off, in order to protect the mesh area. I like the blue color, it is subdued and attractive. Now my calluses have cleared up, and my hands are comfortable. My hands don't feel so sweaty with the gloves on, and the grip is great. The only problem with these is that you are not advised to wash them. So I rub them with disinfectant wipes and let them dry. I love these gloves, and the price is wonderful. ### ⭐ super painful, was not able to proceed to my ... *by Y***O on Reviewed in the United States on August 20, 2017* I was not lifting too heavy yet but I started feeling pain on my palms already. I removed the gloves and I already had a couple of scraped skin (which are okay), and an open wound (NOT okay, super painful, was not able to proceed to my second exercise). Something about the material of these gloves makes it more painful for lifting. They were really uncomfortable and did not serve it's purpose ("stabilize grip" and "relief pads to felp prevent blisters") which is unfortunate. I liked how it looks and fits.
