only good if you just want to hold it in the air.
This shovel broke while trying to dig a simple hole in rich loose soil. If there were negative ratings, i'd give it a minus 5, assuming minus 5 was the lowest possible rating. It boggles my mind that something like this is manufactured at all. It looks like a shovel. But that is as far as this shovel goes.

Not worthwhile
Broke very easily. Using it to dig roots in our yard and the handle snapped clean apart. Don't bother. Didn't get more than an hour of work out of it.

2 Years ago these were great, but...
these shovels USED to be awesome. Lightweight, a "normal" length, and durable. But now they've decreased the length ~8" and the handle is no longer as strong as it used to be. Such a shame.

Didn't last long
Broke on first use. Handle had many gaps in the grain on the inside. Looked like particle or press board. Would not buy again.
