GTMax Blue Rubber Soft Silicone Skin Cover Case for SanDisk Sansa Clip Plus 4GB 8GB

It's a super-thin cover. (Skin, as it's described, is a very good term.) Fits perfectly. But why? Once I had it on my player, I didn't feel that anything was more protected than before. Perhaps it will keep some dust out of the buttons? It's certainly not going to provide much help in the event of an impact with the ground. Really the only thing it seems to do is obscure the buttons and make the player look a bit clunkier.Some reviews seemed to indicate that this skin does not have a slit for the SD slot. Mine does. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing (some reviewers seem to think it's bad), but I thought I should confirm that it definitely is there.Worth the $5 (with shipping)? I have my doubts on that.

I chose the blue skin cover because it looked pale enough that the bright blue color of my player might show through and perhaps the light blue tint might enhance that blue a bit more than the clear cover. I had a clear one for my previous player that allowed some of the player's color to show through. However, when it arrived I realized that it was much darker (and brighter) than how it appears online. I think the image shown is actually the clear skin cover (perhaps over a blue player). With that said...it is a very nice and vibrant french blue. You cannot see through it at all, but there are clear indentations for all of the buttons for the Sansa Clip Plus 4GB. All of the indentations and cut outs are exactly as pictured and you can perform all functions easily while the player is inside the cover case. I use my player every single day and have not removed it from the cover since it arrived. Absolutely great purchase!!

I have a tendency to be very rough on my mp3 players. I usually break the bigger ones in about 3 months. The Clip and Clip+ usually last me about six months but I think that this great little skin will extend this. It is a thick skin but very flexible. All the buttons are covered but still easily manipulated. The skin has no opening for the micro sd slot(clip+), so you will have to remove the skin to change the card. But, I consider this a feature since there is no chance for the card to slip out while it's on. The screen and back are exposed including a tiny gap for the microphone at the top of the back clip. The opening for the headphone connection is about a ¼ of an inch('6mm) in diameter and is a snug fit for most ear bud jacks. There is a hole for the charger, which makes for easy access. I really like the color but it's the physical protection that makes this well worth the cost.

Case is pretty much exactly as advertised- though it is a much darker blue than pictured. A much deeper color- not the pale, almost see-through blue shown. Case is sturdy and is obviously made to fit the player exactly. Having used one of these on my previous Sansa Clip, when I bought the Clip+ I went looking for a matching case immediatly. I've foudn they do really extend the life of your palyer, since a friend and I both bought the Clip, and mine far outlived her's, even though I'm rougher on my electronics.

My fault for not paying attention to detail. I have a SanDisk Sansa Clip Zip. This cover is for the SanDisk Clip Plus.Therefore, the window opening is smaller than the window on the Sansa Clip Zip.I just took a Exacto Knife and cut the opening bigger.Like I said, my fault for not paying closer attention to what I was ordering.Other than that, it is sufficient for what it is supposed to do.

I ordered three of the black colored covers from the same vender between Dec of 2012 and June of 2014. I bought this blue cover in August 2014 and it's not like the black ones I received. The SD card slot is exposed as is the up and down volume buttons. The black covers have only the USB port and headphone ports exposed on the sides. All the open slots (and not even nicely cut slots) makes this useless to keep from accidentally ejecting that wee micro SD card and more vulnerable to moisture damage. It's still good for when you drop it but not even close to the quality of the black covers. I'm afraid to buy more covers now and I have 3 of my own Sansa Clip+ players to protect. I gave my brother one of my gently used black covers as this blue one was unacceptable to both of us. A waste of money.

It seems like a very sensible product, well made and easy to put on your Sansa Clip. It arrived days late, but that's probably because they didn't FedEx it all the way, but turned it over to the USPS at the end to deliver. Strange system! The cover is dark blue, not the light color shown here.

4 stars because it is a good product and has provided excellent shock protection for my mp3 player. The siicone rubber stays soft and pliable. Also 4 stars because it still has openings and is not sweat proof when I am working out. The purchase transaction went just as I expected with no issues at all.
