These are a great option for single stack 1911 magazines, and really a great value. —> A few reviews mention that these were not holding single stack magazines securely. There is an adjustment screw to set tension and these holders come with the Allen wrench needed to make that adjustment. Out of the package, the adjustment screw is backed-out to the limit, so you will NEED to adjust each holder to your desired tension setting. Getting the tension set to your liking only takes a few seconds and the screw has held its position since making the adjustment. These magazine holders are slightly adjustable for degree of cant, & the clip can be moved to either side of the holder for IWB or OWB left or right side. *** I have “similar” magazine holders for double stack 9mm Hellcat magazines - These single stack magazine holders are MUCH narrower (which makes sense to fit the single stack 1911 magazine) and these single stack magazines will NOT WORK for double stack 9mm magazines - there are other similar very good value options available for double stack magazines.
