I live in Scotland and it's been known to rain here noo & again in winter, but skin drips dry whereas jeans etc don't.... Bought a pair of these for cycling about 6 weeks ago and have gone back for two more and wear a pair every day now. Great fit, very comfortable and functional. Some folks complain about the lack of back belt loops but you don't to be a seamstress to stitch a couple of loops of material onto th waste band to sort that minor issue. Ok - I got the wife to do it for me in a rare moment when she actually liked me, but you know what I mean/But with confidence. they're great (shorts that is - no' wives....)
