Soft bristles...good for sweeping up fine dust/debrit on a relatively smooth surface..and lightweight... Probably not great for fine dust on a textured surface like concrete...too soft for that.

I know it sounds crazy to love a broom, but I do. Sweeping is a breeze now. The soft bristles don't pick up the dust bunnies like my stiff Liberman broom and throw them around causing me to have to chase after them. This wonderful broom gently pushes all the cat litter, cat fur and dust bunnies into a nice little pile that I can sweep into the dustpan and dispose of -- as it should be. Little of it gets stuck to the bristles, which always drove me crazy with other brooms. I no longer have to pull hair and fuzz off the broom bristles when I'm done sweeping. Hallelujah! One tip: This broom requires a different style of sweeping. Don't go sweeping around with broad strokes like a madwoman. The soft bristles will throw debris everywhere. Just take it easy and use a slow hand. Thinking of *pushing* the debris into a pile instead of sweeping it wildly. You'll be impressed. I'm thinking of buying another for when this one wears out, but it seems sturdy enough to last a while. It is definitely long enough for a tall person too. I'm a shorty and I only used two of the three extension pieces when I put the broom together.

At first I was so happy to have found a broom with ACTUAL very soft and bowing bristles. This broom DEFINITELY delivers on that. In fact, it doesn’t stand up all that well, if you need to lean it against the wall while you move something, for example. The bristles just bow very easily, which is good for gentle indoor sweeping! That said, this broom COLLECTS hair. I swept a home with lots of little dog hairs and most of them got threaded into the bristles. It wouldn’t be so bad if I could just reach down and pull them out, but they become imbedded and then as you’re sweeping, some of the hair will fall behind, which just makes sweeping very cumbersome. This broom is probably good for a home without pet hair, or much dust on the floors. Otherwise, it’s a bit of a mess.

I love this broom for sweeping my front porch. The paint trim on my house is a gloss black and other brooms I’ve purchased have scratched the paint around the entryway window and door. But this one is really soft and lifts the dust right off without scratching the paint. It’s also light weight and easy to use.

I have tried a few brooms including non-brand and highly rated brand names. They were all a bit too heavy, a bit too tall, and also too stiff for my preference. (I am 5'4" and don't weigh much.) Those more typical brooms make sweeper a more taxing job than with my older (broken) broom. This one is just right with its length being several inches shorter than most typical products. It's also lighter. The bristles are softer, which I find easier to sweep with. I'd say it's not the right product for outdoors and garage, but just right for indoor, for a smaller, lighter person.

The description for this broom says that it has soft, fine bristles for hardwood floors. I could have purchased a better quality broom at a dollar store.

I love this broom. Other reviews said that it was hard to assemble the handle, but for me.(I’m a very senior citizen.) it was a piece of cake. I use it on my laminate floors, bathroom tile and also on some washable throw rugs that my vacuum wants to suck up. It’s very sturdy and it picks up everything including my dogs shedding hair.

Good product. Brush is very full.

Not as soft bristled as I hoped for but it collects and traps hair the way I needed it to.
