I’ve had this fan since 2023 and it still works! Easy to clean, small but powerful. Fits nicely in the window and it’s not loud. No complaints-great value! Just make sure to clean it regularly and you don’t be disappointed.

I bought 2 of these fans in 2021 and absolutely love them. They're the perfect window fan for spring and summer. They're almost silent and move air well, creating a breeze you can feel. After running them both almost nonstop for five years, I finally had to replace them and immediately bought 2 more of the same ones.

The fan is great, and what I wanted, I judge a fan by how quiet the low speed is. Small Apt. From across the room I don't hear it. I just ordered 3 more. I have two new heating/cooling window units the landlord just put in. This fan goes on top of both units. Another one in the kitchen, I in the bathroom. They are sturdy and have good power from speed med and high. I think the price is very good for such good quality, It's not a low end product.

Got the Black+Decker Mini fan to replace a twin fan I had for 30 years. I wanted quiet and small--got both in this mini fan. I like, also, the air flow this unit puts out without the noise of larger fans. The dial control on the front bottom right corner is a plus--I did not want buttons as mentioned in this products desscription. My two complaints are that this fan has a shimmy and vibrates a bit on a hard surface--also, the base is rather narrow making it a bit unstable. I kept it as it is quiet and moves air well--I use it on a padded surface, no vibration noticed. I would look at other options before buying this model again.

I LOVE this fan! I originally bought two - one for my office so I could better regulate my own temperature while sitting near my desktop and the other for in the dead space under our above-ground swim spa in order to keep the air circulating and hopefully keep it relatively dry under there despite the small leak we have somewhere. I am happy to report, both fans are still quiet and running great. The office fan cycles on and off well by a room sensor but the MOST impressive is that the one in the dead space has been continuously running since 2021. 2021!!! I took a panel off recently fully expecting it to be non-functional....but no - still going and still quiet. I love these so much I just bought another one for our guest room, I didn't even bother to shop around. Picture is of the one from under the pool still going (not that you can see that in the pic!) before putting the panel back in place and sealing it back in!

I have been looking for a fan to fit on my windowsill between the window and blinds that would be quiet enough to not disturb everyday life. I only found one other fan with a smaller footprint ( 2-Speed Tabletop Box Fan 9-Inch Compact Quiet Home Office, White ) and decided to try this one first because it shipped prime (and therefore was also cheaper, with the free shipping) and because of its prettier design. Now that I've received it, I do really like the sleek, clean-looking style that doesn't look "warehouse-y" or industrial indoors. It has a nice slim, simple design and a small footprint (hard to see on the images, the base is T-shaped and incorporated into the shape such that it's not a full box sitting on its bottom side like most). Fits on my windowsill between the screen and the blinds (even though I think its width is really more accurately ~4.25in rather than 4in flat), which is what I wanted. It's quite light-weight but seems stable and doesn't shake at all, or even move when the plastic blinds move around and bump it. The first/slowest speed is so quiet that most likely someone buying it for white noise would be disappointed. This is perfect for me because that speed is sufficient to get air moving in my AC-less apartment on a hot day without making a bothersome amount of noise. The 2nd and 3rd speeds do make some noticeable white noise but I think still an acceptable level for that amount of power--but I doubt I will need those speeds. The only thing that is not 100% wonderful about this fan is that the cord comes out of the back on the side opposite the speed dial and there's no room in the small base for the cord to pass under rather than over the fan if you want to cord to come out on the other side (e.g. in my apt, the outlet happens to be on the other side relative to the fan). I am able to cross it over on top of the fan behind the frame so that in the end it's not visible, and it's a small detail anyway. All in all, this fits my needs perfectly and lives up to its advertised purpose. I am buying 4 more so I have one on every windowsill in my apartment for the summer!

Pretty powerful for something so small. I couldn’t afford to buy an AC at the moment and temps outside hit 90° F (32°C I think) and tomorrow’s supposed to be slightly worse. Quick delivery and it really does cool off space. Easy to set up and I can install it both on my desk and in my window. Great quality for something so inexpensive.

Bought two of them five years ago. For the most part, it's a good fan - mostly quiet, good airspeed, decent looking. One developed a bit of a rattle, but I discovered you could get rid of that by simply standing it on its side while it runs, or even upside down. HOWEVER - and this is a biggie for me - there is no easy way to clean them. And we all know fans get really gross after a while. It cannot be opened or disassembled to get to the blades. The official instructions say it is NOT intended to be opened for cleaning, and you should poke a damp cloth or sponge THROUGH the grates to clean the blades. C'mon. The openings are 5/16" at their widest. Ridiculous. So - buy it as a throw-away, or don't buy it at all. I'm not sure why this thing has gotten such great reviews.

Estaba buscando un ventilador pequeño para mi habitación, ya que el que tenía realmente ocupaba mucho espacio, tenía algunas dudas respecto a él, pero en cuánto lo recibí me encantó, es pequeño, compacto y realmente me gusta su diseño simple, elegante y limpio, no es muy pesado pero es muy estable, al funcionar, no se agita en lo absoluto y tampoco hace mucho ruido, para el tamaño, tiene un excelente flujo de aire en sus 3 velocidades, refresca bien una habitación no muy grande, creo que es perfecto para una recámara o una oficina y luce muy bien en cualquier espacio.

With the frame it is actually 11 inches square. with 8 inch blades inside Moves a lot of air and does it quietly. Frame has a built-in stand that has slight backward lean - probably to keep it stable when standing upright.

Prático potente e silencioso

Funcional, realmente es para un escritorio o el buro donde requieres un nivel de flujo de aire agradable y un nivel de ruido mínimo. Tengo otro de Honeywell mucho más flujo de aire pero el ruido es más intenso y si lo tiene muy cerca llega a ser molesto.

I ordered my second white B&D 9-inch fan because the first one, after working 24 hours a day in a too-dusty environment, has never faltered. Today I successfully cleaned the fan and it's now as good as new. It is called a frameless box fan because it has no pedestal at all--instead, it has a very stable, obviously safe design, sitting flat on the table (or floor). It can be set at "off" or any of three speeds. Lacking a pedestal, the fan cannot turn. It has a simple, clean architectural beauty which years ago--many years ago--would have brought admiration for its "VIRTUE" of design. (Once upon a time, the "virtue" of a knife was in its ability to cut well. In that sense, the virtue of this fan is in its ability to move air well.) Highly recommended.
