ROCKBROS Bike Kickstand for 22"-28" Adult Bike Adjustable Bike Rear Mount

My girlfriend and I bought new bikes, and hers didn't come with a kickstand. I noticed in a photo of the bike she purchased that this kickstand had been installed by others. So, I ordered one for her as well. Super easy to install, and there are inserts included to help prevent any scratching or damage to a bike's finish. Feels sturdy once installed and the hardware is tightened. One word of advice: make sure to install the kickstand far back enough so it doesn't get clipped by the pedals. Looks good, even though her bike isn't black or gray, and it's perfectly stable when engaged. Being able to adjust the height is a nice feature. Overall, definitely recommend, particularly if you're just getting back into bikes and don't want to spend much money on parts and upgrades just yet.

Didn’t realize it would be so difficult finding a good fit & functioning kickstand. Yup-many or should I say most adult bikes DO NOT come with a kickstand. I was looking for a kickstand for a women’s Nishiki Pagosa bicycle with15” frame and 700c tire/wheels. I have tried many and none fit but this one is the charm. Bike was purchased at Dicks sporting goods and the bike tech there said we don’t have any kickstands for any bikes we carry… hmmm.

This worked out real well for my daughter's bike. It even sits far enough back the peddle cranks don't touch it when it's down like you get with other kick stands. I also like the easily adjustable height, other generic kickstands I used in the past required cutting to length and that is annoying. I will say it It was a little annoying to get all a pieces in place when bolting this together but I was able to make it work. I bolted this to a mostly rectangular frame with rounded edges and this worked fine for that, it seems compatible with a number of frame shapes.

I bought this in June. Earlier in June I had bought a BV brand kickstand for one of my bikes - for about $18 - which works fine. This stand was for the bike of a friend who hadn't ridden in years. It was only about $10 and had good reviews on RockBros, which beats the heck out of me. The frame member I put it on is round. See pics. The kickstand rolled sideways and the bike fell. I seriously tightened the socket head bolts (using a hex key) and it fell. I glued (E6000) some rubber on the frame under the kickstand and retried; it fell. Finally I added a homemade brace from the kickstand to the other frame member, as seen in the pics. I had to find, cut, and drill the steel. I had to buy longer bolts. The only relatively easy way I found to attach the brace to the frame was to wire it; tacky but it works, for now. I used some pieces of old inner tube to keep it from slipping and from chafing the metal. In the closeup pic I submitted I can see the gaps in the oval kick stand above and below the round frame member but I'm not sure the gaps will show in this review. I didn't charge her for the stand. Note: This stand, like my others, mounts near the rear wheel, which is what I always want so that I can turn the pedals while working on the bike.

Fit my grandson bike very well. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is that the covers on the ends of the screws are a bit hard to get on. Otherw than that very good product.

I bought this for my '03 Specialized Hardrock Uno. It attached quickly and firmly, looks good as my bike is black, and it functions fine. It does project out laterally slightly such that my shoes with wider heels seem to contact the pivot point of the kickstand when pedaling at times.

Installation was very easy and the kickstand works flawlessly. I really like the included rubber “gaskets”, which prevent the kickstand from marring the bike frame. The length of the kickstand is easy to adjust, requiring only an Allen wrench fine tune the height and allow the bike to lean and not topple.

Weak construction. I had it on my bike less than a month and already had to replace it with something better. No trail riding damage as it's on a road bike. It just isn't well constructed for regular daily use.

Sturdy product at good price

This is a fair quality bike kickstand. I am taking away two stars because despite tightening, the stand is not holding the frame very firmly. It has gotten little loose and I don't want to risk damaging the frame by tightening further.
