YESSSSSS !!! Drill optional but adhesive it is
I really like them. They work for the smaller rods opposed to the larger ones as stated in the description. HOWEVER! They are super easy to install. I used mine for my blackout curtains and I’d buy again! They seem to have many uses but, this is my man purpose and it serves. Keep in mind, if by chance they pop up for too long the stickiness might get affected. For instance, I used the bigger rods with these, and they popped up. I tried to reuse with these smaller rods and they popped up again until I reinforced with another adhesive. But these are really perfect.

Better than traditional mounts
These work pretty well and are super easy to mount Especially if you have old walls and traditional mounting doesn’t work I have heavy curtains and for some I didn’t even need to use the top screw Just be mindful of the circumference of your rods because it doesn’t work well with super thick ones the clips are decent size though for most

Waste of money and time
I followed directions. These stayed up for a week then started falling off. Don’t buy.

No design ends rods
Product is durable to hold the curtain rod and curtain, my only issue is that it should have extended out to hold my rod with the design at the end. I had to remove the design feature of the rod in order for it to fit securely. Overall it’s ok

Wow.
Not going to lie, I had my doubts. I didn't think these could hold up my shower curtain. And if they did, I was convinced it wouldn't last. I was totally wrong. Its been about a week, I put them where I wanted, waited a day, and put the shower rod in and its been about a week and still holding strong. They look really pretty because they're a unique way of hanging the rod, but that's what I like the most about them. It's different. When I peeled the plastic, it didn't feel super strong on my fingers, but once I put it in place amd rubbed around the corners it was tight. I thought I would need 2 per side, but one clip per side is holding up perfect. So now I'm going to use these on the window curtains as well. If you want my opinion because your on the fence..... Get them. You can use them for multiple household functions, they hold up pretty strong - heavy stuff, and look pretty while doing it! I'm actually surprised to be honest. I can't believe they are as strong as they are. Now, taking them off.... that may be the hassle. When I put one down and needed to change it, I had to use the heat gun to looked up the glue. So taking them off may be a project in itself. But all in all I believe these are renter friendly and I am thankful for these. ****BTW, they are so strong they aren't holding a regular rod. They're actually holding up a curved shower rod that weighs 4lbs itself- not including the curtain clips , shower liner and shower curtain. Definitely happy with this product!

Not great for long term
After using these for about a year before moving, I’d say you’re better off just drilling holes to put up brackets. There’s been so many times where these just randomly fell off.

Pretty sturdy
Pretty sturdy so far, I stuck it on the drywall with the sticker only even though the instructions said I should put screws on to secure it ( only if it’s on drywall ). But so far 2 months later and it’s still hasn’t budge …. Deff would recommend
