Must Have For E-bike Enthusiasts
To be clear I love riding my e-bike, not stunts nor trick riding, but just having freedom on 2 wheels, and currently (where I live) e-bikes do not require insurance nor registration. 9 times out of 10 I choose to take my e-bike for local trips, except for only when I expect to carry more than what can fit in my e-bike's cargo racks. (1) Now that I have a bike carrier rack, I can switch from car to e-bike and go on much more bike paths, than just locally (2) Drop off the car with the mechanic, switch to my e-bike instead of waiting near the garage/service center (3) Can carry a 2nd e-bike or reconfigure the carrier for just 1, when not in use, just toss it in the trunk (safely hidden), & re-attach when needed (4) The simple design is easy to assemble and there's no risk of not understanding how to attach and fit an e-bike, to exactly what each bike needs, and between my 2x bikes the mechanisms securely lock the bikes for safe transport (5) Since e-bike are heavy, a heavy duty bike rack is required, while I know I should not stand on my towing hitch, the numbers say that it can hold up my weight, but I can attach and store the bike rack without any help, just 1 wrench is the only tool I need (6) This bike rack (at the time) had the best number of bikes-to-cost ratio, and the option to carry a 2nd bike makes me think I could even get a more powerful bike, but then I might just want a motorcycle (but needs insurance & registration) So a Bike Carrier is the ultimate e-bike accessory, & the Young bike rack hitch for car is an easy choice.

Nice fit for jeep wranglers.
Decent bike rack for the money. Used it on a trip yesterday. I have two ecocogy e bikes that weigh about 85# each. Took about twenty minutes to put together. You will need at least a crescent wrench to complete the build. Pros: When tightened up in hitch properly there really wasn’t any rattling or major movement. It fit perfectly on my 2016 jeep wrangler without having to extend with a hitch adapter. This is a big plus for jeep owners. I flipped it down and loaded the back bike. Then locked it back into place and loaded the other bike. Plenty of room. Comes with enough straps to secure both bikes. Cons: The swivel bolts for folding the arms up and down should be carriage bolts for easier tightening. My last bike rack had a click lock system for the hold down bars to secure the bikes. The wing nut system is a little slower and more fumbling. Overall, for half or a third of the cost of some of the racks out there, this bike rack is a nice rack. You get what you pay for but i have no complaints.

Initial Impressions - well built, easy install
First impressions- easy to assemble, appears well made. The knobs to tighten the platform arms are black plastic - will need to see how they hold up to UV over time. Tilt features are nice. Comes with an attachable light kit if you need one - nice to have. Comes with the correct size Allen wrenches. An adjustable crescent wrench was all I needed to supply. Psyched to give it a try.

Solid for my 87lb e-bike.
I got this to put my new Trek Borrego + on. The bike is an e-bike and weighs 87lbs with 4” fat tires. This mount holds the bike very steady. The one complaint I have is the directions for assembly were not great so it took me a little longer than it should have to put together and set up otherwise it’s a good deal and can hold 2 of these bikes which I might get my wife one as well. The other thing I didn’t think about is locking the bike to the bike carrier. The carrier itself can be locked in place with a standard hitch lock (thinner one not the thick one) but it allows for some play. The bolt that comes with this fastens the hitch in place very tightly but I had to use a very large wrench I believe it was 25mm.

Cheap rack with an overstated weight limit - DO NOT BUY THIS RACK
Had this rack less than a month. Loaded it with two bikes both well under the 200lb weight limit and had three successful trips - one was to a state park about an hour away without any problem. Today, loaded two bikes and one of the bottom wheel brackets literally bent down and allowed the bike to drop below the hook on the vertical bar...bike was still held on to the rack with the tire straps and then flipped over and drug the ground. The wheel bracket itself didn't break and the nut was still clamped tight. It was the INSIDE of the tightening mechanism that collapsed. The bottom wheel brackets appear "sturdy" but they are actually clamped to the horizontal bottom bars with cheap plastic inserts that cause the entire wheel bracket to give out even though the nut is tight. Why in the world would you design something meant to support up to 200lbs with plastic?! All in all, a cheap design. Appears sturdy at first but the way a bike can suddenly drop sitting in the rack and flip over (or literally off) makes the top clamp useless. What a crappy design...regret the purchase, and now my new bike needs a few repairs after dragging behind my truck. Thank goodness I wasn't flying down the interstate with my bike coming off the rack. Don't waste your money...treat your bike like the investment it is and get a rack that won't break under normal use.

Excellent quality. Built well.
I put it together in about 15 minutes. Good instructions. Very sturdy and solid. I love that the centre post easily moves out of the way to load and unload the rear bike. Easily adjusts to the bike’s wheel base. Due to step-thru bikes, the bars holding the centre of the bike had to be lowered, thus the straps were used to add security to the bikes. With a crossbar added, I won’t need the straps. Very happy with the purchase!

Really Good for Two E-Bikes
I'm really pleased with this rack. It is well designed and stout. I bought a single motorcycle rack from Princess Auto that was not as sturdy. One star off for not having some other options to shorten the length from the back of the vehicle. With the stock receiver pin hole, the rack stuck out pretty far from my Odyssey bumper - maybe to being problematic for coming off my little hill of a driveway at the street. But I wanted to keep the length in case I mount it on the back of our trailer. I drilled a new pin hole to shorten it up. It's a bit wobbly, but that probably has something to do with fitting universally into different receivers world-wide. I find that the bikes block the taillights on our Odyssey, but I bought some temporary trailer lights from Princess Auto for $20, that bungee onto the front wheel and rack of my bike securely. It all works great.

Sturdier than expected. Impressed.
I've been searching for a good bike rack for weeks. I needed a 200lbs capacity rack for 2 88lbs e-bikes. I also needed a rack that tilt so I can open my truck tailgate without having to remove the rack. I went to Thule store and they asked me 1200$ for a rack that can support 140lbs. Then I found this rack. I ordered it and received within 24 hrs. I read a lot of reviews before I pressed "buy now". A lot of people say it's har to put together. I tend to agree with that statement. If you are the manual type of person, you will figure it out without difficulties. If not, you may need some help because the pictures in the instructions are not intuitive. Adding some colors and bigger pictures would help. You will notice some wobbling after you finished fixing the brackets. I used extra washers between the frame and the brackets which makes it perfect. The rack is strong. I guess it can support more than 200lbs. I had 2 bikes on it (approx 50lbs total for both) and I was able to step and jump on it and it didn't budge at all. I'm 210lbs. It is very sturdy for sure. While I was driving, I could watch the rack with my Ford Co-pilot 360 camera. It didn't budge, even while driving over speed bumps. The components and finish are very good quality for the price! Yes Thule racks look nicer. But they can't support 200lbs+ and they cost 4 times more... I'm not sure how the plastic knobs will react during cold winters in Canada though. We'll see. The velcro straps to tie down the tires are not the best choice. Velcro doesn't last long when you use it often. I ordered four 1" x 2' rachet straps which I will use to tie down my 4.8" wide fat tires. The hooks are doing their job of retaining the bikes. I wish they had an anti-theft lock. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my choice. You can buy this rack with confidence.
