These are only for people with really skinny legs. The colors are bright and they appear to be really well made but I bought the largest size and it was a struggle just to get the sock over my foot. I quit with it halfway up my leg. There is such a thing as too much compression. Not at all worth the struggle. These would be great if they had a recommended calf size in the description.

5'11'' size 9.5-10 in shoes so ordered a large- they come up very high, I could almost pull them over my knee but I moved them around and got them to where I had no wrinkles and hod no problem with them. I was concerned at first by how thick they felt- I have a pair from another brand that make my feet sweat and make me hot so I didn't want to deal with that again- but these actually didn't feel hot as I ran around during my shift and that extra fabric that I thought made them too big acutally made them very cushy! so yes I liked them even if they come up a little too high for my taste

I bought the cool stripes and the ocean strips compression sox. The ocean strips is a much better quality than the cool strips. So much so I inspected the packaging to see if the cool stripes was a knock off. The cool strips material is thinner and less elastic than the ocean stripes. Ocean strip material is softer and less scratchy too. Also the ocean stripes has the soothing extra padded sole mentioned in the description but the cool stripes does not. The cool stripes does not fit nearly as well as the ocean stripe. It is much too long with sudden noticeable changes in the compression from the ankle to the calf. The compression inconsistency is rather uncomfortable and the band at the top is tighter than the compression of the calf.I’ve been a nurse for 10 years so compression socks are not new to me. The ocean stripe cool sox is well made, very comfortable, and worth the money. I gave this only 2 stars strictly due to the cool stripe selection, which is a cheap rip off of the real thing. I can’t put my trust in a company with such significant variation in quality of a product they are selling as the same product in different color. It’s just dishonest.

I have never owned a pair of compression socks before I ordered the "cool sox" and I couldn't be more pleased. The socks are as they say "graduated" compression. I use them after long bike rides for recovery and fatigue of my lower leg muscles. Recently, I wore them on a car trip of five hours. Today I'm wearing them all day because I will be doing a lot of walking. In short, I love them and will be ordering a couple more pairs.

I find the socks are very comfortable to wear all day. I am a machinist and pretty much stand all day on a concrete floor, and before I started wearing compression socks, by the end of the day, my feet hurt and my legs would be feeling the standing all day. I have been wearing the compression socks for a few months, and what a difference they make. My feet no longer hurt like they did (still wearing the same shoes - nothing changed there) My legs do not feel tired either. Most of the time I am not aware I am even wearing knee height compression socks, they are that comfortable.

This is my second time purchasing from Cool Sox. My husband uses them as suggested by his doctor. They are comfortable and stay cool even on hot Arizona days. They are also WAY better looking than the ones you get in most stores. He hated compression socks before he started wearing these. He would never wear another brand after Cool Sox!

They came as expected and on time. My husband has been wearing compression socks because of swelling in his calves and ankles. But we were having trouble with finding sock that came up under the knee and didn't roll down all day. These socks fit the bill. The socks are very comfortable and fit like a glove. His feet aren't sweaty at the end of the day. The material of the socks are like tight knit and the best way to take them off is to peel them inside out. The patterns are fun and we would definitely recommend purchasing them!

Purchased these Coo Sox for riding on the back of Hubby's motorcycle for a recent HOT 11 day trip. My ankles seem to swell, & then ache on long summer bike trips. These Sox did the trick, no swelling or pain ! Just to let you know, they are VERY LONG ! I am a 5'8" female, size 8 1/2 shoe, 175 lbs, & extremely long heel to knee, & I could almost pull them up onto my knee. But for me that was ok, as I worried about them being too short & tight on my calf. They were not. Ordered the aqua with pastel stripes, & they are so pretty ! Only complaint is they were fairly thick for the hot weather we experienced.
