Aimed more for young children/preschool
I bought this thinking it would help me with my pre-teen child, but it is written more for toddlers or starting school. There were bits that were interesting, but overall I didn't get what I was hoping to understand from it.

Writing arrogant. Reads entirely based on opinion.
I made it about half way through before closing it and asking for a refund. I did not find the content helpful or researched based.

Good parenting advice
Half the book is just good parenting advice. So whether you child is an hsc or not, you can benefit. As advanced as we think we are, we still use a one size fits all approach to everything, this book shows how to approach a specific case better than a general parenting book. Every kid is different.I can't imagine any school supporting the plan laid out in the book. Not that it is wrong, I would just use a scaled back approach. A discussion with a teacher is definitely in order. If they are on board, then maybe go all the way with it. Teachers are on the hook about a lot of hot topics right now, an hsc will probably just muddy the water more, unfortunately.

Practical advice
This book had a lot of practical advice/reminders. I think a lot of parents inherently know a lot of this information even if it's through trial and error. I only gave it 4 stars because I wish the section on how to properly correct behavior would mention more real-world strategies.
