The image shown includes the colors pewter and gold in the kit. Is there another kit other than the one listed that has these colors in it?

Sorry about the confusion with the picture of the kit. Angelus decides what colors they put in the kit. A year or so ago they changed the colors of the kit. The colors listed in the bullets are the colors that come in the kit not what is pictured. We have submitted a new picture to Amazon but it has not been changed in their system yet.

Angelus paint is not waterproof. You would need to treat the item with an additional water proof product after you paint and finish.

Does the paint dry glossy or matt?

The glossy or matte finish comes from the end cover product. Before you put the glossy or matte finish, it would depend on the surface of what you're painting. For example, a smooth leather surface might look glossy but you could put the matte finish on it for a different overall affect. Hope this helps!

I used these paints on dansko clogs and it cracked where the shoe bends and peeled . Any suggestions ??

I watched several videos showing how to paint leather shoes. Several mentioned the importance of applying several thin layers of paint to build the color up gradually. They warned that if you apply thicker coats of the paint, it will crack and peel later.
