Posture Corrective Therapy Back Brace with Magnets by PosCure

As a retired swimmer of 10 years, I must say that I have horrible posture. Despite standing on the wall as a young girl (per my mother's orders), my rounded shoulders have only become more and more pronounced over the years. I am conscious I need to fix it or I will be facing back problems as I age. I ordered this because it seemed relatively sturdy for its price. I'm 5 days into wearing it and it has proven satisfactory at best. Even after only 5 days, the elastic feels like its stretched out and I don't feel as if it is as effective as it was in the first few days. I kind of expected this, but hoped for the best. Also, within the first day, one of the magnets fell out of the brace - though I'm not even really sure the purpose of the magnets. In addition, you really have to focus on NOT focusing on the discomfort of the brace. I typically wear it over a tanktop under my shirt and it rubs the fronts of my shoulders raw. I readjust it often throughout the day. (However, the discomfort does lessen when I pull my shoulders further back, so in a way it sort of helps the cause in a painful, indirect way.) A really good this is that it rarely shows through clothes. I typically wear shirts that are pretty snug on my body, and my friends have commented on the fact that they couldn't even tell I was wearing a brace. Overall, it is a good brace for me - I am able to handle the discomfort and use it toward trying to correct my posture. However if you have sensitive skin that does not handle rubbing very well, I would recommend wearing a sold undershirt with the brace or continue looking.

Comfortable

I was surprised when this came in a package that fit in the palm of my hand. It is very small, and mostly just straps The picture makes it appear that there is some substance to this product, but there is not. The magnets are tiny little dots. The brace is uncomfortable, and I've only been able to wear it in small doses. It actually does put your shoulders back (which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1). However, since it is so uncomfortable, and I cant wear it for long, it doesn't do much good.

When this item arrived, I thought it couldn't possibly be what I ordered... the package was far too small! This is a simply constructed brace that actually does work, however, the elastic bands that go over the shoulders and then under the arms to attach to the back panel is very wide and cuts badly into the crease of the underarm. I have only worn it once and did so while packing boxes to move. I really only wanted it to help my posture while sitting and working at the computer, and it will work well for that (maybe with some foam padding stuck under the strap at the offending cutting point). It does help with posture and the magnets seem to help the painful area in my back. For $7 and free shipping, there is really not much to complain about.

I really like this back brace but i would recommend that where the arms go be less tight. It was very tight under my arms and cut alittle bit into my arm but its also because u have to wear a t-shirt under it and i didnt realize that till after but over all good iteam and came very very fast faster than expected, great shipping.

The back brace seems to encourage better posture, but the arm straps but into my underarms. It is only able to be worn for a couple of hours at a time. It really needs padding around the arm straps.

The brace is nice, but I didnt like the fact that the elastic part was digging in my skin under the armpit. Very annoying and painful. You get a red mark after a few hours of wearing it.

Cant complain much couse the price was cheap, and as for the price the materials used to made this are cheap too, at least for me its not strong enough to fulfill its purpose.
