Hot Tools Pro Artist Black Gold 2000 Watt Hair Dryer

I dreaded giving up my old blow dryer that I had been using for roughly 10 years, but I knew it was time to replace it. I read review after review for blow dryers and I kept coming back to this one (Hot Tools Pro Artist). My old dryer was going to be a tough one to beat so my criteria was high but my expectations were low (old model has been discontinued). This dryer is even better than my old one! It cut down on my dry time by roughly 50%, I love the attachments and how easy they are to use, I love the multiple heat and speed settings, and the long cord. I also love that the dryer isn’t super hot to the touch when I’m finished and I don’t feel like I need to let it cool off before storing it. I also feel like it’s reasonably priced. The only downfalls are that it’s a little heavy (which I was prepared for because it was a con in a lot of reviews) and it’s a little noisy. Since I don’t have to dry my hair as long as before, neither of these cons have a big impact. I would absolutely buy this dryer again!

I don't spend much on a blow dryer. I had a conair that I had 10+ years. I purchased a similar one that barely lasted 1 year. After researching and asking friends I ended up purchasing this one. Wow! It works so well. I have mid back length fine hair and this dries my hair so quickly. It is a bit heavier, but I like that. It feels sturdy. Loving it so far.

I’m very happy with this dryer! The thing I love most is it stays put when I place it on the counter while on. All other blow dryers I’ve had slide and end up falling. Easy to hold and drys hair quickly without scorching heat.

I loved this blow dryer when I first got it. Although it was a little heavier then my previous blow dryer I didn’t mind because I loved how quick it dryed my hair and how smooth and shiny it was. Cut to 3 months after purchasing this dryer and the heating element isn’t working properly. Some days it blows hot, then others it won’t blow hot at all. If it does blow hot and I turn the dryer upside down or shake it a bit it stops blowing hot. I have called the 1 800 number for multiple days and it says they are closed. So now I’m back searching for a new hair dryer.

Actually 2000 watts. Will blow hair products off the counter. My daughter took mine so I had to buy me another…it’s a little loud but it gets the job done. All this coming from a hairstylist. It seems a little too loud for the salon so I use it at home.

This blow dryer is really great. It has multiple settings and temps and works great on my hair. The only con is it is relatively heavy compared to other dryers which is only an issue when I'm traveling. The diffuser is awesome, with soft flexible prongs. Overall, I love it.

I wasn't sure if I would be able to tell the difference but I was wrong! It was featured in my "People" magazine as best overall and was on sale on Black Friday so thought I'd give it a try and return it if I wasn't impressed. Let's just say my old Chi dryer is now in a closet and this is the one that hangs in my bathroom! I'm shocked at how much quicker it dries my hair. It does weigh a bit more than my old one but since it's less drying time I don't notice. And I swear my hair looks less frizzy! Crazy!

Received defective item in an unsealed box and did not receive full. Refund.m, extremely disappointed and would not recommend this product
