This is an awesome rug! I got thr 11x15 mushroom. It has two color strands which does not show in the advertisement but produces a beautiful unified color. The rug is thick but needs a good pad for grip. We got a 1/4 felt pad that had a gripper bottom to keep the rug in place and the 2 together feel really plush. The edges are finished nice and tight. The rug fits well in our living room. It is recommended not to use the beater function when vacuuming and our vacuum does well even with the plush fibers. So, if you have a good vacuum, yes! The rug will vacuum fine!

Just cut and pasted my 1st review and changed the responses :) THIS RUG IS WELL WORTH THE $! It is so much more than you will expect! It is super soft and absolutely luxurious. Here are some answers you may be looking for...this is what I wanted answered when I was deciding if I wanted to buy a rug online sight unseen: What color did you order? Brown What size did you order? 8x10 How would you describe the color? It is a true dark brown. No rush hews at all. I would say it is the color of coffee beans - rich warm brown. Was there a smell? Not really, I noticed it when it was first unrolled...but lingered not more than a day or two. Not harsh or strong at all, even from the start. Any new carpet will have a smell...this was less smell than what I was expecting, a pleasant surprise :) How did arrive? FAST and rolled. This time is was only wrapped in plastic. Yes, the wrinkles fell out. Yes, it was matted down when I first unrolled it. Yes, I vacuumed it like a crazy lady for about 30 minutes. Once vacuumed it looked perfect! (Side note, it sat in my entry way for at least 2 months folded while the reno was being finished...and the sitting folded didn't effect it a bit) How is the texture? I would say the texture is a dense thick shag (almost has a curl to the fibers to ensure it is dense)...it is not sparse or cheap looking at all. You can not see any of the backing material from the front...it is super thick! It is not stringy or "shaggy" like a typical shag rug, it looks expensive and plush. How is the pile height? I think I remember the description saying it is 1" high (could be wrong), but I would say it is between 1 1/2 inch to 2 inches in pile height. It is much higher than I was expecting but welcome! Where did you order it for? My living room/formal living room. After buying the 1st rug, it was a no brainer to order this one for the other part of the house. I wanted something that the kids could lay on and that would provide some sound dampening. Yes, the kids and adults LOVE IT...it is super comfy to lay and sit on! Yes, it does help with the sound as we have travertine flooring throughout. Did you put a pad under it? NO, it didn't need one in my opinion. Would you order again? YES YES and YES! Would you suggest someone you know to order it? YES Are you happy with your purchase? YES! It is a tough decision when ordering something like this for your home...without feeling and seeing it first. Hope that this review helps you decide :)

Just got my rug yesterday and I'm happy to say that the positive reviews are all accurate. Wished I could have seen more photos of the Ivory color before ordering, so I'll upload some of my own! I'll start with how the rug feels: it is most certainly plush, dense, and high quality. Your feet will just sink into it. It even looks rich and dense. The moment it arrived, my cat began rolling around and playing on it, which brings me to the next point - the smell: it does not have an offensive chemical odor! There is a slight "new carpet" smell, but nothing too strong or offensive. If it were strong, I doubt my cat would have decided to nap on it as soon as I lay it down, since cats are sensitive to strong odors. Now, it's been 24 hours since I put down this rug and I honestly, can't even smell it anymore. The ivory color looks really beautiful when matched with taupe colored furniture, which is what I have; I imagine it'd look great with greys as well, but probably won't go too well with light beige or white furniture (unless you want something totally monochromatic), since there will be too little contrast. I considered this when choosing between ivory and beige, and I'm glad I went with ivory, because any darker and there wouldn't have been sufficient contrast between the rug and my taupe sofa fabric. The ivory color is pretty identical to the one you see in the thumbnail and the photos I've uploaded. It's a warm cream color - I think someone else described it as the color of white chocolate, which I'd say is pretty accurate. When this rug first arrived the threads were sort of flat, but it fluffed up very nicely once I vacuumed it. My vacuum cleaner itself doesn't work on this even on the highest pile setting because the rug is just too dense and the pile is too high, but using the vacuum's upholstery brush attachment did the job. This won't be difficult for me because my rug is 4 x 6, but if you have a larger size, I imagine it'd be a bit annoying to have to use an attachment every time (unless your vacuum is better than mine and can go over these types of rugs). Vacuuming it when it arrives may also help with the smell a bit in addition to straightening it out a bit from the ripple effect created by having been rolled up. The last and only somewhat negative point is that the rug does slide around quite a bit on my laminate flooring. I have the front leg of the chaise of my sectional sofa resting on it as well the four legs of my ottoman, but it still slides around when I step onto it. This is in no way a deal breaker, because I looked into rug pads, found them to be pretty inexpensive, and just ordered one, which should take care of this problem. I also imagine the sliding is more of an issue for the smaller rug sizes, because they're not very heavy. I actually wish I had gone for a larger size, only to have more of my living room covered so there's more area in which my feet can step on the soft fluffiness of this rug - in the future, when I'm in the market for a larger rug, I am definitely going to be buying the same one in a larger size.

These rugs are nice and thick so plush to step on. I’ve had several rugs and nothing compares to these. I also got a round one for my bedroom. Definitely worth the extra cost.

This carpet is very nice: full, thick and fluffy. The color is more white then cream or ivory, but beautiful. My only complaint is it isn’t entirely straight on 2 sides, and it’s longer then 10ft and shorter then 8ft, by about 2 inches each. Yes, we let it air out and vacuumed it many times and rolled it in opposite direction to stretch it out and get it flat. Fortunately we have furniture placed just so that you can’t tell it crooked and shorter/longer it should be.

We have wood floors throughout the house, which has been great and an easy clean up with two older kids and a dog. However my husband and I recently welcomed a new baby into the world. He of course quickly grew and would soon be crawling and getting into everything. So I spent about 1 month searching for the perfect rug to make sure his early crawling was comfortable and had a soft landing for the inevitable falls of a first time crawler. I looked on probably 15 different websites and each time the number one seller was this rug!! So I just knew it was the one... The only problem? Taupe or Beige? Time and time again I looked at user posted pictures and the Tauper looked very gray and reviews stated it was gray. Then the user pictures of the Beige looked so white and with 3 kids and a dog, a white rug is a scary thing! With my baby quickly getting frustrated in his confines of a play yard, I took the plunge and ordered the Beige. My living room is brown and as much as Inkiked how dark the Taupe was, gray would clash too much... I received the rug today and it's perfect! It meets and exceeds every expectation I had. My preferences for a rug were: Tall thick pile - this rug is so plus and so tightly weaved it's amazing!! Soft and cushy! Good quality - my husband brought home a rug before this one, a rug that was more expensive and just carrying it through the house it was shedding fibers all over the house. With this rug I vacuumed it and not one thread came out! Nice neutral color - this color is perfect any fears I had about it being white are gone! It has two different fibers, one is a very light Beige and the other is a dark Beige giving it an awesome contrast. It's rich looking and so neutral in color and design, it'll go with whatever decor I decide to have! The Beige is true to color, not white at all! Anyway I know this is only on day 1 but my first impressions are great!!! If anything changes with my feelings in this rug I will be sure to come back and edit this post. Also my baby loved this rug (so did my other two) when I put him back in his playard he was so upset! Haha Note: it does have a smell when it comes in as most rugs do, just lie it out, vacuum and air it out for a couple of days. (I'm going to wait a couple of more days before I let my baby go full play time in it until the smell dissipates.

I got the purple, so I am going to give a detailed description of the purpleness of it (since I found a lot of conflicting reports on the color when I was deciding whether to buy it!). This rug is a PLUM purple, meaning it is RED based, not blue. If you need a darker, bluer purple, you will be unhappy with this rug. Personally I was THRILLED when I got it because I was hoping it was secretly more plum. Because it was so hard to tell what kind of purple this was when I was shopping, I have included a screen grab of the pantone purple color sheet, and have put red x's through the shades of purple that do NOT live in the same color world with this rug...hopefully this will help! One of the beautiful things about this rug is the depth and dimension of the color, which is achieved by using different colors of strands. HOWEVER, this feature made it look SUPER pink and mauvey when it was rolled up, so when I first saw after it was delivered I was SO MAD!! I was so sure it was pink I almost sent it back without even opening it. BUT, I had purchased the 8x10 size which meant it was huge and heavy and I really did NOT want to have to go through the hassle of sending it back, so I opened it up, just on the desperate hope I might not completely hate it. Once unfurled, I was not much happier, because they way the colors are combined in the yarns of this rug makes it so when the fibers were all flattened down to the side from being rolled they look really pink. Again I almost gave up on it, but then decided to fluff it up first before deciding for sure. Boy am I glad I did!! Once I started raking my hands through it, the most gorgeous plum color magically appeared before my eyes! So. If you want a dark, royal, cooler-toned purple, this is NOT your rug. But if you want a warm, plummy, reddish purple, you will LOVE IT. I've attached some photos that are decently close to it's actual color, but the truth is, it is nearly impossible to capture it's true color in a photo. There's too much depth and dimension to the color, which is what makes it so stunning in person--literally everyone who comes to my house immediately comments on how much they love it. My floors are a dark cherry/mahogany, and this color is dark enough to almost look like a perfect complementary neutral against it. It's perfection. Now on to the actual rug itself. It had no smell, unrolled pretty flat right off the bat, and was completely flat by day 2. It is super deep and luxurious...I'm not going to lie, I straight up rolled around on it like a little kid once I had it laid out. THEN I went to home depot and had them cut me a piece of carpet pad to put under it (MUCH cheaper than buying a rug pad that big), and once I put that under the already plush rug, it literally felt like I was walking on a cloud. Amazing!! Needless to say, I'm totally thrilled with this rug, and already purchased a matching runner. Note, some of the pics I posted are of the runner and some are the larger rug, the light was different in different places.

Totally worth the purchase . Soft bright and great quality looks perfect in our beachy style room . Perfect color looks like lite sand .

Received my Rug yesterday May 21, 2020, came earlier than expected by FedEx. I like the size 5'3" Diameter purchased in round dark gray not too big for my room but perfect. I had a bigger rug in my room and it covered the hardwood floor. Its nice to see the rug and part of the hardwood floor, that's my preference. The rug is fluffy and soft and laid flat on the hardwood floor. However, I had to vacuum first to get it completely flat, keep in-mind it came roll-up in plastic so you have to flatten it out. With all that said the only thing I dislike was the smell on the rug was very strong, Its like any new rug purchase and the smell lingered until go away. It's like painting your house/apt and that smell lingered until the paint dry and eventually go away. This is day 2 the rug is laid out in my bedroom all the windows are opened I will be purchasing fabric refresher today or organic product for rug. Hopefully, the smell will go away soon, apart from that I totally recommend. I will send an update later with the smell and if the fabric refresher/organic product works and also how my beautiful rug is doing. I will also submit a photo later Update on the smell that was lingering on the rug. I had the rug for 2 weeks and the chemical smell was still lingering. I sent an email to the seller and he replaced the rug with a new one and I am very happy with this new rug no smell.

Wie erwartet gute Qualität. Liegt im Schlafzimmer, schön weich... wenn mans mal nicht bis in die Federn schafft. 😜
