Uniclife Aquarium Air Pump Dual Outlet Fish Tank Aerator with Accessories for 5-200 Gallon Tank

This is my first aquarium air pump. I'm new to the hobby and have a five gallon planted Betta tank. I have a HOB filter that has been running for four months and the output, even on the lowest setting, has seemed to be too much for my half moon Betta, so I started the search for a sponge filter set up. I have had this air pump running with my new sponge filter for three days now and I'm extremely surprised at how quiet it is. It also has a great range for flow output. Right now, I have the sponge filter and HOB running at the same time in the lowest settings to build the beneficial bacteria in my sponge before I remove the old filter. Everything is working great. I'm hopeful this will be the fix my Betta needs to be more comfortable moving forward.

I bought this to replace an old air pump that I had been using for about twentish years that finally breathed its last (RIP), and I have to admit that it's been a huge upgrade. I already know that the dial to control the gusto of the airflow is going to work so well with the different ornaments that I have and like to change out for my tank from time to time, and the rubber soles on the bottom of the pump itself keep it SO QUIET. I used to have to keep my old pump on a stray sock, and it would need to be adjusted every so often to keep it sort of quiet. With this one? I can't even hear it. So happy with this new pump!

I’ve only used this pump for a short while but was very happy with it. I really like that it’s adjustable and it is pretty quiet. Of course, I kept it dialed down to the lowest air flow so I suppose it might be a little bit louder if it were turned up higher. One comment, I did have a lot of trouble getting the air hose on and off the pump and the air stone. Once I attached the tubing to the pump and the stone, it was almost impossible to pull back off again. I don’t know if it was something I was doing?? Also, it should be noted that the air stone it comes with is a bit large. My guppies seemed to like it and would swim back and forth through the bubbles. However, I had to switch the tank to house a Betta and I had to stop using the air stone. Betta fish are not strong swimmers and prefer calmer water. Consequently, they should not have an air stone in their tank. Especially a small tank like a 5 gallon (smallest tank a Betta should be kept in). Even though I am not currently using this air pump I still decided to keep it because I like it and will use it on another tank in the future. I do highly recommend it.

Got this pump for my 20 gallon fish tank to replace one that was over 20 years old. Didn’t need the supplied hoses, as it connected fine with the existing hoses. Pump works well to power my aerating volcano, and is super quiet. Don’t notice it is even there. Hope it lasts as long as the previous one.

Very good, very quiet

The pump itself is quiet as a mouse, but the air stone seems loud. It’s been rare that I’ve used an airstone so maybe I’m just not used to it, and maybe that will change with time. The other thing I’m disappointed in is I thought that when the knob was turned all the way down, it could be turned off that way, as there are times when I don’t want it running. In order to completely turn it off, it seems you have to unplug it completely. Turning the knob all the way down gives less bubbles, but still a good many. I was actually hoping there would be even less on the lowest setting, to give more control over how many bubbles there are. I dock one stat for the noise and one star for the lack of ability to turn it completely off using the knob/only minor difference in amount of bubbles between the lowest and highest setting.

Great price for everything that's included! Nice and quiet, easy to adjust, the feet are perfect for keeping things quiet. Plenty of tubing included.
