Portable and affordable (priced below $100) video projectors started to become available on consumer market about 10 years ago. Modern development of high-power LEDs created a viable alternative light source to halogen bulbs traditionally used in projectors for many years. Over past decade I have purchased a number of such devices about once a year on average from a few different brands varying in size, color, features and quality. Year after year the technology continued to improve yielding higher picture resolutions and brightness levels. Early models in this price range were more like novelty toys but have evolved to perform on par with professional grade equipment in recent years. Granted, my expectation of every newly purchased projector was to be an improvement over the previous generation device(s) I was truly impressed with this one. The quality is remarkable in every aspect: solid mechanical construction, vast color gamut, exceptional brightness and intuitive interface (just to name a few) push the user experience to a whole new level! Simply put, at this price, there isn't anything of comparable value - highly recommended!

I wanted a projector to watch movies and this projector does a great job works well for my movie nights. It's super easy to set up, It automatically adjusts to whatever wall you put it on and has great display. The image is clear and crisp and it's amazing to sit back and watch. Would recommend value for your money.

I’ve used the CLOKOWE 2024 Upgraded Portable Projector, and overall I’m pretty happy with it for the price. It’s super lightweight and easy to set up, and I was able to connect it to my phone and laptop without any issues. The picture quality is quite good in a dark room, and it really does feel like a mini movie theater experience. That said, it’s not the brightest projector out there—during the day or in a well-lit room the image looks washed out, so it really shines best in the dark. The built-in speaker works, but I preferred plugging in an external speaker for better sound. The fan makes a little noise, but once the movie starts I barely notice it. For under $40, I think it’s a solid little projector—great for casual movie nights, kids, or travel. If someone’s expecting high-end home theater quality, this isn’t it, but for the price it definitely exceeded my expectations.

I have used dozens of digital projectors over years. Everything from cheap models like this one, all the way up to commercial models costing thousands of dollars. Is it the brightest? No. Is it the quietest? No. Does it have the best key stone adjustments? No. Is the audio great? No. But, you aren't going to find anything better at this price range. (I got mine 30% off during one of Amazon's various Prime sales.) Honestly, I'm surprised how good this thing is for the price. A few things to know: The lens is, understandably, of simple construction. It needs to be directly in front of the screen to get maximum sharpness of focus. The size of the image depends on the distance from the projector to the screen. You'll need to place the projector 12-13 feet from the screen to get it to project a 100 inch image. It can, however, provide a surprisingly sharp image at this distance. You can even get it to project an image around 110 inches without issue, if you have old tired eyes and don't mind a slightly soft image. Another thing to keep in mind is that it is not terribly bright. Bright bulbs are expensive, and this model saves some money here. That being said, at night, in a garage or a dark room, it is very pleasing to look at. The sound from the device is not great. This is no surprise as there simply isn't enough room inside this tiny box to include any sort of substantial speakers. Watching videos off a USB thumb drive is so easy on this device. Just plug and play. Would I use this as my primary video source? No, I would not. But the beauty of this device is how small, and cheap, it is. Very easy to carry around. My neighborhood is filled with young aspiring film makers, and they love to have a "movie night" where they show their creations. I'm excited for the weather to warm up so I set it up outside and try to recreate that 1980's drive-in feel from my childhood. PROS- Cheap, so, so cheap Everything works the way it is supposed to Surprisingly good picture quality Lightweight and easy to transport. Enough connections to use this device with high quality video sources and high quality audio outputs Did I mention this thing is super cheap? CONS- Keystone adjustments are a little hard to dial in precisely, and only work for vertical adjustments (projector must be centered on the screen) The sound from the box isn't great Requires a fairly dark environment for best viewing Feels a bit cheaply made, but then again it is quite cheap. The fan can get a bit loud if you are sitting close to the projector. OVERALL- It's definitely a lower end model, but I am honestly surprised this projector works at all, given how inexpensive it is. If you temper your expectations and aren't xpecting this to compare favorably to a $3000 model, you will find this to be of exceptional value. I would gladly recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap, portable projector for occasional use. In fact, a charity I work with is already planning on getting one for their children's program, since I told them they had to stop borrowing mine.

TLDR: Low quality image, time-consuming and difficult to get set up, failed to play desired media, loud fan, tinny speakers, gets very hot, wouldn’t turn on after *one* use. Review: I’m usually careful in researching products but somehow missed the ball and didn’t see or heed all the bad reviews on this mini projector- This was such a disappointment of a purchase, a waste of time, planning, $140 worth of products, and kind of ruined the intended birthday “drive-in” movie night. The first stage of problems beyond buying extra accessories was with connectivity: This projector would not play any media off the connected hard drive of videos, except for one inexplicable exclusion which happened to be a Christmas film, The Nutcracker. The files were all of the same type, so this device was not in any way plug and play. Connecting to other sources such as Netflix and Disney Plus was also a no-go as reported by other reviewers. The audio quality of the inbuilt speakers on this projector was reported to be pretty bad, so I’d purchased a Bluetooth transmitter receiver (Aisidra Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver V5.0 Bluetooth Adapter for Audio, 2-in-1 Bluetooth AUX Adapter) to be able to pair to Bluetooth devices such as an Anker speaker, JBL speaker or two sets of Airpods, and failed to get those to connect either. This was another waste of over half an hour and $35. It does, or rather did play audio over its innate speakers, and yes, the sound quality the singular time it worked was dog water. The viewing surface was a 100” projector screen (AODIOU Store Projector Screen and Stand 100 Inch Portable Outdoor Projection Screen 16:9, $69.99 with a -30% coupon). To set up this projector from where it would be most convenient meant the image filled only a small portion of the screen. Even then the image was washed out and placing it farther away just made the image more watery looking and lo res. Since this projector needs to be plugged in, if you want to play this outdoors you’d need a giant extension cord or a significant portable power station, something which would allow you to draw 45 watts for an extended period. Decent power stations start at the low end around $100. I was fooled by the good reviews loaded up front, all claiming that it was “high quality”, “inexpensive but not terrible”, “lightweight, making it easy to carry in my backpack” (as if you could just pop it out and use it on the go!), and so it’s my bad that I just bought the necessary accoutrements and believed it’d be straightforward to set up and go. Only after all the hurdles and then outright failure of the device did I go back onto Amazon product page and search for “stopped working”. Don’t fall for the $69.99 with 35% off coupon (which they always have)! Please save yourself the money, frustration and disappointment, and do a quick search yourself before committing to this “deal” of a projector.

First I want to say the Customer Service for this product is amazing. They’re very responsive to emails. They have worked with me a lot when I have had issues with the product. Overall, I’m satisfied with this product considering the price point. I love that you can download apps really easily. I appreciate the image quality for the price. I think it’s really good. I thought I was not gonna like the manual focus feature, but it’s fine. Basically once I set the focus it stays that way regardless. Unlike other projectors, the edges of the image are still very clear. Other projectors, I’ve tried the image will be focused in the center, but not focused on the edges. I don’t have that problem with this projector. While, I use an external Bluetooth speaker, I do think the speaker on this projector is pretty decent. The fan is kinda loud, but I really don’t hear it over the external Bluetooth speaker. I’ve not had any issues with streaming over the Wi-Fi. The brightness of the image is pretty good too. Although you can adjust the image brightness to your liking. My main issue with this product is the remote control. I have been sent several replacement remote controls and they all have the same issue. They work really well on the software native to the projector. But then once you start to use the remote inside applications it just doesn’t work as well. I find myself having to click on the remote buttons several times in order to get the action to complete. I mostly watch YouTube on this projector and Netflix. And I have the same problem in both applications. If they could improve the remote controls, this product would totally have five stars. I just find having this remote issue detracts from my user experience. The projector does not have anything blocking it so there would be nothing blocking the signal. My projector is mounted on my wall when I’m using the projector remote I am usually sitting directly under the projector. I just think the range of these remotes is not very long either. You have to be right up near it for it to work.

Amazingly easy to set up. Impressively quiet fan, almost non existent. I had milky clear bathroom trash bags clinging to my windows and this projected from the inside to the outside for my Halloween decorations. It was beautifully clear and incredibly bright. I'm so impressed with this $30 purchase that even if it only lasted a season I would purchase it again just because how quiet it was in comparison to my other projectors. It's well worth the value for what I paid. Also I want to state that it did not heat up like the others do. The window on the right is this projector. The left is the transarject wifi projector that is 7 months old and already has dark spots, and is VERY loud fan noise. I'd also like to note that the projectors were not on the same color tone settings. I eventually changed this one to warm and it looked really good. It has a remote that actually worked with both projectors. It looks like a firetv remote. The screen size was large enough to fill a 50 inch width window and not be blurry because it was too close. I also liked the focus wheel. It was so easy to get the best picture. I highly recommend this for digital decorations or holographic projections.

We LOVE this! The focus is great, the picture is great, there is no lag and it works so well! It’s also very compact but the picture is really clear. It was also so inexpensive. We can watch TV, Netflix, and even push whatever is on our phone up to the wall. This is a perfect solution if you don’t want to buy a TV or you don’t have room for one.

Amazing product I like it, I used it few days very well, after that one day I try to swich on the "SMART PROJECTOR" text showing by hours again restart , same that's why I decided to return

Quality of the product is good brightness is slight low in light area but in dark room it feels good but there is an issue with the bluetooth of this device it gets disconnected frequently and sound of bluetooth device is distorted you if you use its 3.5mm audio jack sound is awesome 👍
