I’ve tried my fair share of "healthy" pancake mixes, and let’s be honest — most of them taste like cardboard. But this ProDough Buttermilk Pancake Mix seriously surprised me! The pancakes come out fluffy, golden, and full of real flavor — with none of the weird aftertaste you usually get in low-carb mixes. What really impressed me is how filling and satisfying they are — thanks to the high protein content, I actually stay full until lunch. And being gluten-free makes them a win for my sensitive stomach. It’s perfect for busy mornings or even a mid-day snack without the sugar crash. Also works great in a waffle maker — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Total win. If you’re trying to eat clean but still crave that warm, comforting pancake feeling… this is your mix. Trust me, it doesn’t taste “healthy” — it just tastes awesome.

Good way to get protein in. These taste good

Fall season is coming up and I've definitely been craving some pumpkin flavored treats while still sticking to my macros. This pancake mix abides by the 10 calories per gram of protein rule (protein plus option) and still delivers excellent taste. The texture, taste, and satiety were all amazing and left me feeling full and guilt free. The only downside is that you get very little pancake mix for the price. It's about 7 servings per bag but, you can't beat these macros. I immediately purchased the other flavors so I'm hoping they are just as good!

Better than most but very dry. It makes you want more syrup or some sort of topping. After 1 you really don’t want another. I guess that’s good for weight loss but it doesn’t give you enough protein. Also it doesn’t taste too much like cinnamon. I love cinnamon and wanted more of the flavor so I made a topping of high protein green yogurt + maple syrup + cinnamon whipped it and put it on top and it helped with the overall taste and dryness. I wouldn’t buy it again. There are some great diy recipes out there that come out much better.

A yummy protein packed pancake mix! The mix even arrived quickly (before its estimated day of arrival). I like how easy it is to use this mix! Just add mix and some milk and you have a pancake (after cooking it, of course!). I found it easy to make. I did end up with a thicker batter, but that worked with me. I made a larger pancake, added some bacon bits (more protein), and topped that with some peanut butter (bonus protein), and it tasted amazing! I didn't detect the buttermilk flavor too much (I think the protein-y-ness takes that over), but you could always add buttermilk as your liquid if you need that. (Or a tablespoon-ish of lemon juice and add milk until a cup is reached, if you don't have buttermilk because I literally never have buttermilk and must use a substitute). The main issue I have is the price point. It's a bit higher than I'd prefer for only a pound of protein pancake mix. But this will work in a pinch if you need it to! Overall, I'd buy this again if I needed some mix for protein pancakes.

Horrible quality control. This is how I received mine after waiting a long time to get it. Then they play games refunding me. This is a non refundable item even if it comes damaged and you can’t use it as you can see in my picture below. It’s expensive too. Not worth the money when I can make my own. Hopefully I get my money back. I feel like I was ripped off. They didn’t seal the bag correctly and it caused a huge mess when I opened the bag Amazon shipped it in.

DELICIOUS PANCAKE! I made 2 cakes with baking stevia 4&1/2 inch pancakes from the 1/2 cup serving size perfectly. I love strawberry jam and skinny mixes double fudge chocolate syrup all over it! 0 calorie taste delicious on top of them.

When I opened the bag after reading the instructions, I was thinking….no way this makes 20 something pancakes like the bag says. Sure enough…I followed the instructions, and yes. It does. It makes a considerable amount of average sized pancakes. I can believe it makes about 20 pancakes. The pancakes tastes great. No complaints. I like this product because of the health benefits over regular pancake batter pancakes. Really easy to make. I do recommend this product.
