How good is the rust resistance? i see that it's aus8 "stainless steel" according to sog website, but the reality is....?

Rust resistance is great. This is the 5th dog lmofe I've purchased over the years and no rust problems what so ever. Even when I ise it on a wet environment and just drop it in my pocket days later when if want to use it again no rust, I just have to wipe of any left over crud Rex.

My blade broke. How can I file a warranty claim?

Start a return through Amazon. A broken blade not be covered because there are too many variables at play. There is no way to tell if the blade was used properly or not.

Why can't this ship to upstate ny

I got mine at dicks in NYS last year. Should be able to get it here still
