La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 SPF50+ Invisible Tinted Fluid, 50ml

I’ve been using La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 SPF50+ for a while now, and I started with the non-tinted version before switching to this tinted fluid. The main reason I switched is that the tinted version gives a bit more than just sun protection. Tinted sunscreens containing iron oxides are known to help protect against visible light, including blue light from screens, in addition to UVA and UVB protection. That was a useful added benefit for me as I spend a lot of time indoors and on screens. In day-to-day use, I find this one much easier. The tint evens out my skin enough that I don’t use foundation anymore. It gives a natural finish rather than looking made up, which saves time in the morning and simplifies my routine. It’s also one less product to buy and think about. The texture is lightweight and works well on my skin, even when it’s slightly sensitive. It doesn’t feel heavy or greasy and sits comfortably under other products if I need them. Overall, it’s become my everyday SPF because it combines high protection with a subtle tint that makes my routine quicker and lower effort without compromising on coverage.

As a mature woman, I love this! The directions don’t say how much to use but I apply the ‘two finger length’ rule amount which I have read for other facial spf. Firstly, I do apply serum and a light moisturiser and they apply this on top as the final layer. I wouldn’t say it adds much tint but that’s ok for me. Once it sinks in a bit the scent is quite pleasant but what struck me most was the lovely glow that lasted all day and the fact that despite the recent heatwave, no sunburn and absolutely no stinging of eyes! I bought one bottle on Prime day at a very good price and after using once, bought another three bottles! Time will tell if it’s as waterproof as they claim when I take it on holiday to Greece! Couldn’t be happier.

I have combination, fairly sensitive skin and used this sunscreen every day for about three weeks, both as part of my daily routine and on holiday in temperatures of up to 38°C with a UV index of 12. Like the Invisible Fluid version, this sunscreen spreads easily, dries down fairly quickly, and doesn’t leave a greasy finish. It feels comfortable throughout the day, although I found it slightly less weightless than the non-tinted formula. It also didn’t sting my eyes, and I didn’t experience any redness, irritation or dryness. I noticed a few clogged pores around my nose, but not enough to cause a full breakout. The sun protection was excellent. I didn’t experience any sunburn despite prolonged exposure in very strong sunshine, and only developed minimal tanning. It stayed in place well in hot weather, although I would still reapply after a couple of hours of heavy sweating, as I would with any sunscreen. The main difference for me was the tint. While it initially blended into my skin reasonably well, I found that it collected around my hairline and in my eyebrows, leaving noticeable brown patches that needed attention. It wasn’t a problem with the sunscreen’s protective performance, but it did make the finish look less natural than I wanted, particularly by the end of the day. As with the Invisible Fluid, the bottle is practical, although the formula is runny enough that dispensing the right amount takes a little care. The price is also on the high side for a 50 ml bottle, which lasted me around three weeks with daily use. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for high UVA and UVB protection in a facial sunscreen with a natural-looking tint. If you have prominent eyebrows, a lighter hairline, or simply prefer a finish that is completely invisible, I found the non-tinted Invisible Fluid to be the better option.

Excellent. Comes out as a liquid which spreads really well. Gives your face a light tint which is great and means you can go out in the sun without makeup. Would buy again.

Wear this everyday! Its so light that it doesn't feel like I have such high protective sunscreen on all day. Excellent for my sensitive skin and there is no perfume smell to cause irritation. Applies with ease and with no streaking. Exactly what I have been looking for this hot summer, and having tried other products this is a real stand-out.

I’m working my way through my second purchase of La Roche-Posay UVMune and I will buy another one when it’s finished. I was originally disappointed with how small the bottle is, but it actually lasts ages with daily use, my current one has been going at least 3 months and still has lots to give. I wanted to add a daily sunscreen into my routine and this has not disappointed. The formula takes a while to adjust to, it is very liquid-y, you can use the bottle to dribble it onto your face or pour it into your hand for finger tip application. I also found the smell alarming, at first it smells very chemical based however it quickly disappears once applied and as someone with very sensitive skin- I have had no issues. The tint does not provide a huge amount of coverage in terms of make-up style foundation, it instead stops the suncream from ghosting your face, I, however have not been using any foundation products since I started using it. The spf seems to work great, daily it’s reassuring to know that my face is protected when out and about in the UK weather. However, it coped really well with the demands of the south of France in 35c+ temperatures with the usual sea and sweat challenges! I do occasionally have a blocked pore or two after wearing it, though it is not regular and is pretty standard for my skin. I don’t find the product drying at all, but I wouldn’t use it as a moisturiser. When I cleanse my face at the end of the day , the colour tint appears on the face cloth, so it lasts well. The colour blends well with my skin tone providing I pay a little attention to where I’m rubbing. Being blessed with oily skin, this product does not add to the oil slick, which is a nice change!

This is great sun protection while giving you a nice natural glow. Drys quite quickly so get it on fast. I didn’t reapply through out the day as no need to. Great solution to looking less pale while protecting skin.

Truly awful product. It's runny, smelly, and is an awful, pinky shade that looks terrible on my fair skin, and as a makeup artist I can't imagine it matching any skin tone...

A little watery , works fine.

Me gustó, aunque! Es totalmente diferente a mi adorado anthelios mineral one que ya no he encontrado. Este es prácticamente como si fuera un aceitito, es muy líquido, y no tiene cobertura en realidad, es muy simbólico lo del color. Peero como producto digno de la marca le cayó genial a mi piel, me la deja con un toque brillante (sin caer en lo grasoso) un glow muy bonito, la piel suave, humectada y huele delicioso. Tiene una protección solar inigualable que es el objetivo y eso es lo más importante. Si no usas maquillaje o si encima de este vas a usar algún maquillaje en polvo, es ideal.
