The HVAC tech that diagnosed the problem said the part was $681 from them, PLUS installation. This motor is a perfect fit, and seems to be of high quality (we’ll see how reliability is in a year or three). It took me less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Tips: CUT POWER TO THE UNIT BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!!! Take pics of where the wires connect BEFORE disconnecting, so you don’t question it when hooking up the new one. Be careful with the capacitor (where the purple wire connects), because it may still hold a substantial electrical charge even though you’ve shut off power to the unit. I used insulated needle-nose pliers to detach and reattach that wire, to be safe. Best to do that with all three wires, actually. The only issue I had was that one of the mounting bolts snapped when installing. The seller sent me another bolt, but I had to end up taking the outside unit a part an extra time because of it.
