OEM Upgraded Lennox Armstrong Ducane 1/5 HP 230v Condenser Fan Motor 100483-02

This replaces Lennox part #100483-02 (Model # K48HXGFG-4294). I had trouble finding it by model #, but easily found it by part number. Color coded wires matched the original, which made replacement trivial. This is a super easy job, and doing it myself saved over $500. I was fairly certain the problem was the fan (that or the relay), but decided to call a “pro” to confirm. The HVAC tech that diagnosed the problem said the part was $681 from them, PLUS installation. This motor is a perfect fit, and seems to be of high quality (we’ll see how reliability is in a year or three). It took me less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Tips: CUT POWER TO THE UNIT BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!!! Take pics of where the wires connect BEFORE disconnecting, so you don’t question it when hooking up the new one. Be careful with the capacitor (where the purple wire connects), because it may still hold a substantial electrical charge even though you’ve shut off power to the unit. I used insulated needle-nose pliers to detach and reattach that wire, to be safe. Best to do that with all three wires, actually.

This was a perfect replacement for my AC. The only issue I had was that one of the mounting bolts snapped when installing. The seller sent me another bolt, but I had to end up taking the outside unit a part an extra time because of it. Good part though that fits perfect and runs well.

The studs lined up to the holes, the wires were the same color, hooked it all up and we are back to having A/C in our house! Don't hesitate to buy this.

Fit perfectly and fixed the fan problem

It was a direct replacement. That is, after removing the cheap bracket [supplied]. Good thing my application did not require it. It would have been a completely different rating if I would have had to rely on the [removable] bracket.

Supplier sent used product without original packaging and instructions. When complained, no response. I ended up using it as is due to appointment with technician. I would never go back to this supplier (NSF) again.
