This feels a little cheap but I have to say, it's very quiet and it does the job well.i have had several brands of these as we have ran a pitbull rescue for a few years . This doesn't have the strongest casing but when you use these the noise can really get the dog worked up and the whole reason I use these is because a lot of the rescues we have had, despise getting their nails cut. I always let it run and sit with the dog and play and pet them and even pet them with the nail trimmer as it runs just so they can see it's not a bad thing. Get them used to the tool before you even try to use it on them and it will save you a lot of time and you won't end up wrestling with your dog. Overall this is a good buy and it works just be careful not to drop it to much or it very well may break.

I saw a few reviews that this isn't the best for large breeds, and I have to agree. I would be better off figuring out the right grit to use on a dremmel. I wanted something safe, that wouldn't scare my dog. She doesn't like this, and I can't get her smooth quick enough. I just want sharp edges smoothed after I clip, didn't expect to grind her nails off. I'll find someone with a smaller dog to give this to. I'm had at returns on time.

I have nervous dogs that are scared of it, They're gone the moment i press that button. Buy if your dogs are ok with this sort of thing.Also, please don't hold it to their nails for longer than 1 second per contact, lots of friction burns, and they'll feel it. Read the instructions before

I am a dog bather and it is so much easier to use than the normal bulkier nail grinders. My only complaint is they are super easy to break one fall on the ground and it doesnt work anymore ive only had it for 1 month and its my second one. I went to their warranty website and it does not exist. Its a basic mechanism but I cant find any info on how to fix it myself. It will only work while plugged in now.

This doesn't do such a good job. You can barely see a difference and this takes such a long time to file them. I had to take the protective cover off the tip and use the side of the drill bit for a better file but even then it was so great. This would ONLy work as a weekly maintenance routine after a nail trim session with the clippers. Not if they are longer than that and you don't want to have to use clippers

This didn't work at our for our German Shepard's nails. It didn't even make a dent. It's a good design and would be great for a smaller breed.

I moved on from this device very quickly. The battery does not last long enough to get all four paws done.
