Review: Quality sketchbook paper AND fun cover - I was surprised to see a tokidoki sketchbook - I've been a big fan for years and happened to be on the hunt for a large spiral bound sketchbook. Usually I find that 'novelty' sketchbooks don't always have the best paper - this one is actually great. The paper is thick and has a very smooth finish (not much tooth) so it's great for pencil, marker, pen-and-ink work. I don't use a lot of wet media in my sketchbooks so I can't speak to that, but I can confirm that even with really dense ink markers like Prismacolor it doesn't bleed through several pages (though the darkest colors are visible on the back of the sheet). The pages are perforated but not so deeply that pages just start falling out all over (my biggest pet peeve about perforated sketchbooks). I absolutely love this book and if I spot any more by tokidoki I will absolutely snatch them up! Review: Beautifully made - My girls love it ! I highly recommend itโs super cute and worth the price!!

Quality sketchbook paper AND fun cover

Perfect beginner sketchbook
I bought this for my niece for her drawing aspirations. The book is solid with heavy cardstock pages that can be torn out. Paper has a nice feel to it, where you can work colored pencil without it smearing, but you can smudge it if you want. Perfect beginner sketch book.

Cute, basic sketcbook
Bought this for my little sister, the paper quality seems solid, nothing thin or frail. The average sketcbook but with a design thats really cute, which is why I purchased it. Would recommend this for an amateur who just wants a cute sketchbook
