Review: Quality sketchbook paper AND fun cover - I was surprised to see a tokidoki sketchbook - I've been a big fan for years and happened to be on the hunt for a large spiral bound sketchbook. Usually I find that 'novelty' sketchbooks don't always have the best paper - this one is actually great. The paper is thick and has a very smooth finish (not much tooth) so it's great for pencil, marker, pen-and-ink work. I don't use a lot of wet media in my sketchbooks so I can't speak to that, but I can confirm that even with really dense ink markers like Prismacolor it doesn't bleed through several pages (though the darkest colors are visible on the back of the sheet). The pages are perforated but not so deeply that pages just start falling out all over (my biggest pet peeve about perforated sketchbooks). I absolutely love this book and if I spot any more by tokidoki I will absolutely snatch them up! Review: Beautifully made - My girls love it !
