My father started doing art in his 70’s. He is now in his 80’s. He is now beginning to do more detail and shading. I can’t wait to give him this for Christmas!

Everything is great except value finder which is worthless. See through plastic with shades of grey. I use a paper value finder frequently and cannot see how this is transparent plastic could be useful.

Got to use the proportional scale divider today. ITS JUNK AND WILL NOT HOLD ITS POSITION FOR EVEN A COUPLE OF SECONDS. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU WANT ACCURACY, IT WILL MAKE YOU CRAZY TRYING TO KEEP IT FROM MOVING. YOU CANT GET IT TIGHT ENOUGH UGH.

I bought this in a rush as I was needing it before my art class started. It did what I needed it to do then, but I eventually had to buy a bigger one because I couldn’t use it for still portraits I needed to paint later.
