It’s a 300lb wet noodle to move, but man, the good night’s sleep is amazing. What back pain? Tossing and turning and waking up all night? Not me! 😁 This is our 2nd latex mattress. We had one years ago, then replaced it for an inner coil that was partially latex when we got a new frame. That was a monumental mistake. 4 years later and our sleeping spots were big divots in the mattress and I was in pain every night. 1st night back on a latex mattress and I didn’t toss and turn or wake up in pain. It’s been a few weeks and it’s been uninterrupted rest every night. Buy good shoes and a good mattress, because if you’re not in one, you’re in the other.

We have slept on real latex for over twenty years. Last year we bought our first mattress from this company and were pleased with it and with the price. So, we bought a second one this year for our king-size bed. It is very heavy and hard to move around, but then, I have arthritis and that's why we bought it. It is still a bit firm for me, which we knew it would be, and so we also installed a new topped also. It makes for a very comfortable night's sleep. The reason we changed to latex in the first place was due to dust mite allergies. They can't live in latex.

I'm a side and back sleeper, and on a tall/heavier side, with some back problems that go away when I sleep on the right surface. I spent most of my sleeping life on futons, and had decided to upgrade some time ago, but have not found a mattress with the similar right combination of firm support and cushy top I need to be comfortable in my price range yet.I ordered this mattress based on the fact that the two sides have different firmness, medium and firm, hoping that I'll find the side that works well for me. Unfortunately, the medium side is still quite hard - as firm as the hard mattresses from some of the other vendors I tried.The mattress arrived well packed in a reasonably small roll (it's quite heavy), it filled up quickly and had no unpleasant odors. A mild smell of latex dissipated within a couple of days. Materials, cover and seams are very well made.Alas, neither side was soft enough, and I kept waking up with painful shoulders and quite a bit of back pain, and had to give it up. This would be a great mattress for someone who likes lots of support of a hard mattress, it's just not for me.

So I bought this mattress a few years ago, just updating the review.It's very firm much more so than spring mattresses, I went back to a spring mattress and I have to say I miss the latexBut this thing is ungodly hard to maintain. I moved it from the curb into my house while it was still vacuum sealed because the delivery guy flat out refused to move it.This thing is like 500lbs of dead wet noodle weight while it was still sealed it was pretty awful, well I moved eventually and it took 6 people to move it out of the house and into the next one. You would not believe how insane moving this thing is.There's 0 hand holds like most mattresses have built in on the sides, every inch of this thing is floppy and weights 500lbs it's insaneIt's so awful to move that, 4 years after moving it once I threw it out and bought a new bed because the nightmare of moving it to the moving truck left it so impossibly damaged that I left it for "big garbage day" where they came with a back hoe to pick up the thing.... Words cannot describe the nightmare that is moving this. So I'll move on to the rest of the bed.It's honestly pretty comfortable and I'll agree it does "sleep cold" which is nice as I'm sweating in the winter right now with this new mattress.It's impossible to maintain trying to flip the mattress was pretty much out of the question do it sat in one spot for the entirety of 4 years. If you don't have support across the entire underside of the bed each open area will sag a small amount. There's obviously no box spring so it was just awkward at timesIt remains moisture like crazy. Even with a dehumidifier this thing just... Felt wet.Overall I'm not even sure how to quantify how I feel about this bed because sleeping on it was great but EVERYTHING else was impossibly impractical

This is simply one of the best, pure all natural latex, mattresses available in my opinion. I love the fact that this mattress is flippable and that one side is nice and firm. You will not sink. The other side is slightly softer. Both sides offer great support. This mattress will arrive compressed and when we unboxed it and put it in place I removed the platic and it unrolls with the firm side up. It took hardly no time at all for the mattress to take on it's full size and dementions. I was impressed in that there was no off gasing and since there are no nasty potentially harmful chemicals used in the making of this mattress off gasing is not a problem.

The best all LAYTEX mattress ever! Good for back pain. Took a while for the smell to go away though. I had to get a topper for my side because it's still a little stiff. We got a split king size and it's so big! Sleep quality is great though.

Bought a 9" full size for my daughter. It was packaged well and barely had any "new smell." She let it air out all day before putting her sheets & blankets on. She wanted a firm mattress and is extremely happy with her new latex mattress! It is very springy and you have NO problem getting up off the bed (unlike my pillowtop mattress) and it offers great support on the firm side. Now, my husband is looking to get us one for our room!! It's really a nice mattress with a well-made covering. We're expecting it to last for many, many years.
