Make a difference in your season
Leadership training: How can your team know how to lead unless you teach them. This book, coupled with your buy in can make the difference between an okay season and a great one. Winning is said to solve all problems. That is not true. Problems arise during winning or losing seasons, and how your team reacts to those will last much longer than the result of a game or match. This is not the only book on leadership I have used, but it is one of the best. For those looking for a place to start, this is a great first step. For those who have something already in their program, this could be the next step. Great program and I would recommend you buy this book. It is a difference maker.

Used?
I was really excited about my book, bought 2 of them, one for me as a coach and one for my player, and then realized that the book I bought from her on here came with pages torn out. I bought the book used which I knew it would be worn down and stuff but I didn’t not expect pages to be missing. So it’s a little irritating that this happened. I am thankful for the book but wish this would have been communicated or double checked ahead of time

You Get the Team You Build
This book worked wonders for my team; admittedly dysfunctional at first...but we went through this as a team. It changed our DNA. We became accountable to each other, and elevated each other's game using these principles and techniques. Its a great book for building leaders on and off the field.

If you coach a sports team you need this book !!
If you are coaching a team there is a fantastic chapter on choosing a team captain and a great selection process that involves the team through a series of questions that they fill out. Also the following chapters are there to help develop the captain. GREAT BOOK
