So far, cover i'm shopping none cover the bottom to prevent rust stains on my pavers. imo, only reason to get cover. no pics of the bottom. does this?

I have the cover because I live a mile from the beach and my last heater rusted, due to this. No. This cover goes to the bottom, but does not envelope the heater. It stops at the bottom.

Does the heater sit inside this cover when stored so that It is entirely protected from dirt, etc., even the bottom?

The length of the cover extends to less than half inch from the table top.
