For a touch up, apply sparingly to your ends to make your hair less dry and frizzy. Or you can apply more with the intention of letting your hair absorb it. I apply the lotion to the bottom half of my hair before bed and then put it up in a bun. When I go to sleep, there is obviously product in my hair (more than I would go out with). But when I wake up my hair is softer and both feels and looks healthier. Love this lotion. Swear by it.
