why doesn't my tuning fork work in water? I've read that it is supposed to vibrate/wave the water when placed in it. Nothing happened. ???

Hello! The tuning fork can be used in the water to work. The vibration/fluctuation effect produced in the water is different due to the difference in the tuning fork frequency. The frequency is low and the water wave effect is obvious; the higher the frequency, the worse the water wave effect.

I don't know what it is made of, but I see the seller responded separately that is an alloy material. I can say these 528 Hz forks appear to be very well made and sound wonderful. I'm very happy with mine.
