Since you cannot plug headphones into the player, is there a cord I can buy that will make it headphone adaptable?

There is a headphone jack, but I wouldn’t purchase this item we bought two of them and they broke within the year

YES...the player can use 8 "C" size batteries. It also can be plugged into a wall jack for regular 110v power.

Great for my tween

My in-laws sent my daughter some Taylor Swift CDs as a gift. We didn't have a working CD player in the house, though. I bought this for her because it was reasonably priced, and it's pink - my daughter's favorite color. The sound quality seems good. I can hear it from several rooms away. She is also able to tune into radio stations. Overall, good device for our purposes.

Stopped Working after a few months.

UPDATE: Purchased November 2021, stopped worked May 2022. Was great while it lasted but not worth the price for only a few months. Has great sound. I am very happy with this purchase. I listen to audio books and the volume works so that I can hear it throughout the house. Great value for the price.
