Behringer HA8000 V2 8-Channel High-Power Headphone Mixing and Distribution Amplifier | For Professional Stage and Studio Applications

I use this to drive 7 pre-mix inputs for an Aviom In-Ear monitor system and couldn't be happier. The sound quality is great and it delivers enough amplification that we're no longer maxing out volume channels just to barely hear ourselves. We can have up to 16 channels with our in-ear's, so if we expand I can easily add another one of these. I don't know if it will last forever, but it's much less expensive than other options and the sound quality is fantastic for our needs.

These units are great for budget wired in-ears, live or in a recording environment. I use the direct inputs on the back for 8 separate headphone mixes. Send signal from your console/interface using dual XLR to single TRS stereo cables (signal will be unbalanced). You could also use dual TS to TRS (like an insert cable) if your equipment has 1/4 inch outputs instead of XLR. From the phones outputs on the HA8000 you can use a TRS to XLR cable into something like the Behringer PM1. Or you could use a standard headphone extension cable though it probably won't be as robust. I did have a power supply go bad on one of these units awhile back but it was the HA8000 V1. This model has been going strong for over a year.

Great product for great price ... I bought this because I thought that once I plug an input in the main I would hear that input in every headphone whether or not it has a direct input.. But that's not the case.. Inputs on the main can only be heard on channels that does not have a direct input...

Es Un elemento bastante útil, levanta muy bien la señal para situaciones donde debes enviar monitoreo a diferentes músicos de forma alámbrica (Estudio o live sessions) los acoples de rack son removibles aunque queda un espacio, lo revolví poniendo unas tapas de madera y lo hace ver muy elegante.

The behringer HA8000 works just the way we wanted to, perfectly fine! It has help us to remove all the guitar, bass and piano amplifiers, making the scenario looks cleaner, you just got to have a pair of good quality in ears and will it definitely replace, in a good way, the good sound quality that an amplifier can give to you.

I bought this mainly because the headphone knob on my mixer cuts out at the sweet spot in volume, but realized quickly it has another great feature: Being able to switch between 2 sources instantaneously makes comparing a live recording to one that was recorded before super simple. The mono button works great too. Not much to complain about, except that the volume control goes loud very quick. Having the level at the 12 oclock mark for more than a few minutes would be deafening!

Product is fine, but I would have appreciated the info stating it is a American version re power lead as I’m in Australia & saw it was coming from Sydney.
