Just a girl with natural curly hair. I am loving this product. Does NOT way down my curls. 2nd day quick spritz and still working. Curls are bouncy. Did not have to apply lots of product. Price is excellent. Smells nice. Will buy again. Con- package arrived with cracked top so it will not seal.

Great Gel, creates a very solid cast for the curl and scrunches out perfectly. The only thing I don’t like is the scent, it’s not perfumed but it smells like it is. For the price, this is one of the better gels I’ve tried.

I love this product. After decades of denial, I am finally learning to embrace my natural curls. This has been a great gel to create a cast for my hair. After "scrunching the crunch," this leaves behind a pleasant smell without residual stickiness. This lasted a long time too. I apply generously to soaking wet hair and then reapply after some towel time to air dry (so I was using A LOT of product per use). I'm only now ordering my second bottle after many months.

I have been in the market for new curly hair products and decided to give this kit a try. I have been pleased with the shampoo (a little goes a long way if you emulsify well), conditioner, and gel. (I also bought the Curl Whip mousse separately, and that’s been great.) So based on those products, I’m pleased. HOWEVER, I could not recommend the Curl Jelly Refresh spray less. It’s supposed to help you delay a full wash day, but by the time you’re done messing with it, you’ve spent almost as much time styling and with far worse results. I don’t know if I got a defective bottle, but the spray nozzle shoots more of a straight stream than a mist. It’s hard to distribute well or evenly throughout your hair, so you end up trying to use more, and then your hair somehow ends up both greasy and frizzy, and curls are stringy and have that look of an overly-intense cast that you can’t break. I’ve had the same results with both air drying and diffusing. Overall, it seems way to thick for a refresh spray, but maybe if it actually misted, I wouldn’t feel that way?

First, this product smells incredible! It provides a great hold for my curls without weighing them down. I have low to medium density hair that can get heavy easily, but this keeps my curls light and bouncy. It does leave a bit of a crunch, which you just need to scrunch out. Considering the price, it’s definitely worth giving a try!

I’ve really enjoyed using the Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly Scrunch. It gives my curls great definition and bounce without leaving them crunchy, which is always a win. The formula feels lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down, and I love that it adds a nice shine too. The scent is fresh and not overpowering, which makes it pleasant to use regularly. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that it can be a little tricky to apply evenly—if I use too much in one spot, my curls feel slightly sticky. Once I figured out the right amount, though, it worked beautifully. Overall, it’s a fantastic product for anyone wanting frizz control and defined curls without stiffness.
