I love this hair oil and I do not say that lightly. I’ve tried at least five others before this and none compare. I have type 3B/C hair in a dry climate and I only shampoo my hair once a week. That said, it’s difficult to keep my hair moisturized but this product works great to add softness, moisture, and shine without looking greasy. I use this on half my hair to my ends, just a couple drops is enough for my long and thick hair. It may be pricey, but this will last me quite a while and was well worth the price. I’m sensitive to smells however I love this scent. Smells light and fruity/floral. The dropper pulls away clean and doesn’t make a mess. The packaging is sleek and would look great on any counter/in cabinets. Highly recommend, this is my new go to hair oil!

I use this to break my gel cast after my curly hair routine. It is very light weight but surprisingly effective. It made my hair shiny and soft. I have thick corse hair but it is also a mixture of 2b/c and 3a. Definitely recommend for this purpose! I bet its works well after you have straightened your hair for extra shine. Light and not greasy at all.

I have fine, wavy hair, and for over 50 years, finding a hair oil has been almost impossible—they always leave my hair looking greasy and weighed down. The JVN Complete Nourishing Shine Drops are the first oil I've ever used that actually works. It doesn't turn my wavy curls into limp strands, and instead just leaves my hair feeling soft with a touch of shine. The scent is lovely, a fresh, faint smell that isn’t overpowering. I only need a few drops for my shoulder-length hair, focusing primarily on the mid-lengths and ends. Since you need so little, this bottle will last a long time, so the value is there for me. I especially love that it’s designed to be applied to dry hair, making it easy to grab a quick boost of smoothing hydration without a full wash. This is officially a staple in my routine!

After using this product for a couple months I can genuinely say this is needed in your hair care arsenal. Everyone needs a good quality shampoo and conditioner followed along with good oil. I use this after I shower with dam hair and it not only does it smells great but it also helps my coils. Very nice luxurious smell and feel. Also great for night routines to help your hair prep for the next day. Very versatile.

I love this product. I use it to scrunch out the crunch on curls after styling and it makes the curls soft, silky and shiny. I also have taken to smoothing it on my lengths if I dry my hair straight. Still brings a great soft shine without feeling sticky or greasy. I am hooked on this product! The smell is beautiful too! My puppy even thinks so as he is always climbing up to sniff at my hair and to get some cuddles since I have started using this oil. I never want to be without this beautiful oil. Now I want to try some of the other products in this line.

Bottom line: highly recommend as last step for my light colored 2c/3a dry hair. -Pros: works on air dry and blow dry days (doesn’t need heat to activate), adds shine, smooths frizz and fly-aways, subtle light fragrance (similar to a lighter Sebastian Potion 9 or 90s Clairol Herbal Essence) absorbs quickly. no sensitive skin issues, concentrated and therefore cost effective, plays well with other products, glass packaging, quality ingredients, good price, cruelty-free, doesn’t make light hair look dirty or gummy, washes clean without buildup or itchiness - Cons: No one product works for everyone, but this is pretty close.

Purchased for my daughter and she was neutral on these she's had better and she's had worse.

A must for my hair care routine. I have long black wavy hair and finding an oil to apply on hair that is designed to be dry and not damp can sometimes leave my hair greasy. What I like about this product is that it does not leave an oil sleek. It makes my hair soft & shiny without the greasy film. It also has a nice subtle powdery scent to it as well. Salon quality for sure!
