This does an amazing job covering grays. I have black hair and more than 50% gray hair so when my roots start to grow out, there is no mistaking it’s time for a touch up. Pros: The scent is much nicer than other non-botanical products. It’s super easy to use and is pretty forgiving if you drip a spot on your skin. It washed off my skin pretty well. The cream is light weight and combs through the hair uniformly. Leaves hair silky and soft with a high shine finish. Cons: it’s a little pricier than over the counter boxed brands, but well worth it. The gloves that come in the box are handy, but a little large for my small hands. I used my own. Overall, this was a great buy and luckily, I’m getting a subscription discount which makes it easy to touch up on the fly without waiting.

I love that this is ammonia-free and made with botanical pigments. It left my hair looking vibrant, shiny, and soft while providing great gray coverage. Definitely one of my favorite at-home hair colors!

Still caused skin reaction on me.

I am in the Us and all the hair color box brands here make me deathly allergic especially black hair dye I break out I itch like crazy and weeze I usually have to take two Benadryls. I usually use a blue black the allergic reaction isn’t as bad but then the blue stains my scalp. I was searching Amazon for hair color and this brand popped up. After reading the reviews and the ingredients I said what the hell let me try it. This is the second box I have bought of the black. No allergic reaction, no chemical smell, and no itching or burning of the scalp. The color is beautiful can’t believe how shiny and soft my hair is. This is an excellent brand and the price is well worth it. The grey coverage is why I bought this and there is not one single gray hair. Would recommend this !!

I was loyal to Madison Reed hair dyes. Then I noticed my scalp and the backs of my ears would itch significantly. I went on the search for a new hair dye. I was worried because I have sensitive skin and nose. So glad for this one! Light herbaceous scent, no itchy scalp, no itchy ears. It works wonderfully and washes off easily. After a few washed I the dye did noy bleed out, it stayed put. Full grays coverage. Decently priced. Please do not change the formula! It's amazing!

Excellent grey hair coverage. I like it. After purchasing L'Oreal and experiencing a MASSIVE alopecia, I've purchased Madison Reed's hair dye, but it did not cover my greys as expected). This one did the job, with no scalp inflammation

I may have stubborn grays but after one hour of this dye setting on my head, the gray still sparkled. I tried a second time then had to leave for my appt with white temples. If you love the salt and pepper look this is for you. I am grateful that this product did not irritate my scalp.

I’ve been dying my hair for 40 years, both in salons and at home. I’ve even bleached. But something happened 4 years ago that caused my to be very sensitive to hair dyes. I get big itchy scabby things on my scalp and little itchy pimple like things on my neck and ears. I thought I was going to have to only get my hair professionally done until I tried this dye. It’s not the deep rich black that I used to get, but it’s a good black that doesn’t have a blue or red to it. I find that I have to make sure I completely rinse it out of my hair and I shampoo my hair daily for the next few days. I even used the developer that came in the box. Before, for home dyes, I would buy a sensitive skin developer to use with the dye. The only downside is there were no gloves included. I mix this in a bowl and apply with a brush. I didn’t find the smell to have that strong at home dye smell. I have subscribed to this. I was initially turned off by the price. I was used to paying $10/under but in my situation it’s a lot less than going to a salon.
