How to keep the temperature consistent?

The more content placed in the thermos, the longer the original temperature will last. Pro-tip: for best heat retention, preheat Jerrycan with boiling water before pouring hot food. For cold, pre-chill with iced water before pouring cold food.

Can a bobber be washed in the dishwasher?

Yes. Avoid using alkaline dishwasher products as these can damage the product.
