My son is 8 so I bought the 9-10 and it fit perfectly. The costume is just a top and wig but we teamed it with black shorts he already owned and some cheap red football socks (also an Amazon buy) and his trainers and it was perfect. The wig is....not exactly high quality but for a night of trick or treating did the job. It doesn't stand up quite like in the picture so I did try to spike it up a bit more using gel but it had no effect.
