Update: the seller contacted me and not only replaced the cracked paddle, but sent extras AND replacement parts for anything that might break in the future! I really love my butter churn and have already made butter twice. The problem is one of the wood paddles has cracked after just two uses. And they were hand washed. I tried contacting the manufacturer but it is impossible to do so. I will gladly change this to a five star review if they will reach out to me and send me a new paddle as well as fixing their link to their company.

Good item. Paddles are a bit small for me but I have big hands. I wouldn't recommend trying to make cultured butter in it.

I love the company that madness Amish made in China. not itself looks really great. Only thing you can’t get the lid off finally did put my whipping cream into the machine, whipped it and before it turned into a usable form, the metal outer structure was coming loose from the can lid. Call my wife screw it will send it back. She washed it out after fighting with the lid again hand screwed it on was going from the sink to bring it to me and the bottle fell out and broke like I said it’s a piece of crap. I’m not gonna send it back for anything. Just remember you buy things from China. They’re crap.

The item is as advertised. It appears to be well built. I've used it about 10 times now and it does the job. The first time I used it, I used COLD cream from the fridge and it took about 15 minutes to become butter. That's LOTS of churning. I since then let the cream come to room temperature (or close) and find it takes less than 5 minutes of churning for full butter.

Not put together flimsy easy to brake

We saw this product in use at an event and knew we had to have one. Before we left the event I had already placed the order with Amazon. When we got home, the churn was waiting on our porch. We made butter that evening. It works so easily and effectively. The principle, and thusly the device, is exceedingly simple. Surprisingly, it takes only a few minutes to beat heavy cream into butter. So fast and simple! We love it and are now at the stage where we are experimenting with the addition of salt (how much?) and soon we’ll be infusing some tasty flavors into upcoming batches (cinnamon, anyone?). Homemade butter goes great with my wife’s homemade breads, scones, bannock, cupcakes, etc. and on top of fresh, locally-grown sweet corn. It just feels good to make it ourselves from a little container of heavy cream. We know the cream is high quality, and the machine allows us to make really small (or large) batches - assuring constant freshness. I wouldn’t be without this little gem.

Works great. Whipping cream turns into yellow butter just like regular butter. The crock holds one batch. Taste great

A bit time consuming but the product works as intended. Good way to make your own butter. The quality of this is pretty good and functional
