Well, I tried. Unfortunately, the plate is hot, but the coffee? Not so much. I even tried this with a silicon cover and still wasn't impressed. Definitely better if you do both hot plate and cover. I wish reviews on Amazon could be trusted.I actually recommend just getting a Thermos though. My Zojirushi insulated cup keeps my coffee hot far longer than I could ever hope.

Beverage cooler
The actual warner heated up, however not once did my beverage become warm. It was freshly brewed and become ice cold.

It's PINK
It's PINK - not red, but a sparkly pink. it does seem to keep coffee warm with the correct cup, but don't believe the red, this thing is PINK
