Where is this tool kit made?

Seems like its made in China and fine to use for work at home and won't recommend it for professional use.

Is it 173 pieces of useless cheap things? You cannot make decent stuff for 50c each

You can see what's in the kit by looking at the picture. While I'm not too keen on clamps, everything else is useful. And this kit has the most useful and and least number of useless items. You're not getting Milwaukee or Craftsman quality here, you're getting a kit for light home/dorm use. I looked a long time to find a kit with all the items I was looking for, and as little junk (little plastic clamps) as possible. This kit was the best I found anywhere for less than three times this price.

Are these what you would call, quality tools?

I wouldn’t call him high-quality tools. The tools are all right. The box to carry the tools is crap. You will have at least 15 to 25 tools fall out of place every time you open the box.

What color are the tools and case? Photo appears to be in monochrome.

Look, this is not the best set of tools you'll have, but it's perfect for starters (I just moved) and it will get you out of some troubles. It's somewhat light, it has all the main tools you'll need and it's small and practical to be stored anywhere. Again, this is not super great quality, it's just ok, but for that price, it's a 5-star product.

Includes no metric tools. Even sockets are all imperial.

Confusingly... all imperial tools. I order this in Europe and get no metric. I would expect at least a mix. At least state that somewhere. Who doesn't need a 10mm socket?!?! Otherwise good quality.
