I use mine for so many things, from cleaning small fruit and vegetables in a bicarbonate water bath to remove pesticides, to lining my bread basket, making yoghurt, separating butter from buttermilk, making almond milk, and straining broths, sauces, and gravies. The list goes on and on. Once you've experienced how handy they are, it's hard to imagine cooking without them. When it comes to muslin cloths, quality is important. Many cheaper options are made from low-grade material, woven with uneven threads, and often bleached, which is less than ideal, especially for food preparation. I was initially hesitant to purchase this set from Colperun after reading a few mixed reviews, but I decided to give them a try, and I am so glad I did because these muslin cloths are wonderful and their quality is excellent. They are made of 100% unbleached pure cotton, which is very important to me. I want to avoid any chemicals leaching into my food, and knowing these are unbleached gives me peace of mind.
