Can the app control more than one heating pad?

You name a heating pad when you set it up in the Sunbeam app. The Sunbeam app then allows you to view and manage all connected heating pads separately within the app.

I see that this is dual zone (L/R), but is it also multi-zone per side (ie Head, back, feet)?

No...it's only left or right control.... there are no options for head, feet, or torso.
