**Q: Is it smokeless?**
A: Yes it's smokeless. It uses a ceramic heating element in the top. Cooks steak wonderfully. I'm still experimenting with other things.

**Q: Can you use 2 grill plates at the same time so you can cook 2 steaks at once?**
A: you can really cook only one (small) steak at a time.  the lower shelf is like a warmer

**Q: Kalorik: how many amps are needed for this to work?**
A: At the highest (and default) heat setting the grill uses 1600 watts. So if your home is 120 Volts (in the U.S.), the grill draws 13.3 Amps. Most circuits in your kitchen will allow 20 Amps and other outlets are 15. You're circuit breaker box should show which is which.
