Very very nice projector. Worked out for me very well
I can't describe how happy I am with this projector. I've hung it in the bedroom affixing it to the light fixture. And watch it every night while falling asleep. It is awesome at projecting at night itme. In my case ot is 100" screen on the wall. It looks awesome @1080p. When battery powered it is noticably dimmer. I never use it on battery unless the power goes off. Daytime projecting is not so good, but that was never my intention. Although if cover all windows it is acceptable to lay in the bed all day and watch your favourite tv show. This is what I am doung right now, as I am writing this review. The wifi is 2.4 GHz and this is smomeyhing that could have been better. But hey, it works. Just don't stream crazy 100Gib movies and you should be fine. The sound is great for its size. I'm happy with it. The UI is a bit laggy but get yourself ProjectIvy amd that will make it a bit more swift. Overall this is freaking awesome projector for the price. I use it way more often than my other big UST projector. Hope it lasts long. it is almosy 2026 and it works flalessly. 10 out 5 stars The pic is taken during daytime

Love it
Update Xgimi reached out to help resolve the issues and provided great customer service! I'm impressed with the lengths Vivian went to help troubleshoot the issues. I got a new device & the auto keystone works great now. I love the portability, clear sound, and picture quality. I highly recommend. -------------------------------------------------------- Original I've used the Xgimi Mogo Pro & Elfin and thought the Halo+ would give me all the features I love about the others plus more. The auto keystone & obstacle avoidance features don't work as well as the Elfin using the same setup/position. I always have to manually adjust because it's crooked or tells me correction failed. I did all the calibration setting & the picture still comes out crooked. Also, the device will not power on sometimes (this is when it's not in hibernate, and I push the button) I will try some more troubleshooting but thought I would have less manual steps because of the higher price tag. Right now I'm leaning towards keeping the Elfin and returning the Halo+. I'm a newbie when it comes to projectors...so I'm not sure if I just got a defective one or if I'm doing something wrong. This Halo+ didn't have any reviews on Amazon when I purchased, so I took a gamble. All I know is the Elfin hit the mark right out the box and has been much easier to use; I just wish it had an internal battery! The picture shows the Elfin at the top & Halo+ at the bottom after auto keystone. I turned the Halo+ on first, then the Elfin. I will post more pics & videos when I get time.

Great projector exactly what I needed
This projector did everything it said it would. The light is strong enough to use during the day in a room with good blinds. It's vibrant with clear image in a dark room. The battery life is the perfect length for a movie or two if you don't have an outlet. When using battery power it dims slightly to conserve energy. The sound quality is great even when the projector is on the other side of the room. The settings are easy to navigate and set up.

Pretty great bedroom projector
After downsizing my home post-divorce and living in a smaller space for about a year, I decided that I wanted to pick up either a TV or get a small projector for my bedroom to watch TV, play some casual video games and potentially take it with me on camping trips. I was originally going to purchase a SS Freestyle after seeing some product commercials because I liked the feature of being able to throw the picture to my ceiling, but I decided to do my own research and eventually landed on the XGIMI Halo+. This projector pricey, but I decided it was worth it since it did 700 lumens, has auto obstacle detection, auto focus, auto keystone and Harmon Kardon sound built-in (dual 5W speakers, I guess some of the licensing money is going to Samsung anyway since they own Harmon Kardon). The 3.5mm jack is pretty cool too as it can support headphones or if I ever decide to opt for "better" speakers. With the HDMI input, not only can you plug in an Apple TV or a laptop...but this device performs pretty well if you decide to casually game with it. I was pretty satisfied plugging in my Nintendo Switch, and playing games like Mario Kart or Mario Party with my kids. The only con is probably that it doesn't do Netflix natively, but it's not really that big of an issue as there's a workaround via an app. Like I said above though, you can also plugin a different device via the HDMI input. I'm a few months in now using this device and I'm very happy with the Halo+. TL;DR - This thing is great.

Perfect portable projector
Edit. After using the product for 7 Months. I started noticing few issues. 1. I need to use power plug every time to turn on projector. even it has 100% battery left. This is serious issue as a portable projector. 2. Frequent hang and crashes. I have only installed 4 new apps other than stock apps. 3.Auto keystone doesn't work properly over the time. When I reached XGIMI customer service for fixing the first issue. Poor response saying no service center available and they would replace the projector with some other used projector. I would regret getting an china product. If product doesn't work properly even for a year. Playing huge cost of $850 doesn't worth. If you still deciding to purchase this product. Purchase it with protection plan. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I previously got mogo pro from Xgimi and fell love with the xgimi portable projector and ordered xgimi halo +. At present i believe this is the best portable projector available in the market (I have even tried anker nebula capsule and samsung freestyle), clarity, brightness and portability, this product wins . I tried 3D mode and felt it was good to my surprise. Currently I use it in living and sometimes use it to change my bedroom in to movie theatre. Overall it's a good product if it comes under your budget. I base from speakers could have been much more better but I connect my Bluetooth soundbar.

Love it
I love this projector a lot. The images are crisp and clear. I did run out of life of a lamp sooner than expected but that's because we left it on when not it use so it lasted about 3.5 years. We knew better. But since we love it enough we ended up buying another one.

I love this projector!
After three fails with other ($300 and $400) projectors, this is my happiness! Totally 100% top quality. It’s as high of quality as any Samsung or quality brand. Right out of the box I already knew I was going to be satisfied. We searched and searched and tried and tried and we like to watch movies outdoors during the summer. Everything about this is awesome. Now we can’t wait for football season in the garage during the winter. Do any of those I don’t know how to say how happy we are that we got this. There are two cons. If there’s more than about six people watching you should use the Bluetooth and connect it to a larger speaker. Very easy to do. The last con is, is brightness. It is super excellent at dusk and night. It would just be nice to have one step up and brightness but compared to the other three models that we got this is the meow. I just don’t think there’s anything better available that is portable and battery operated. You don’t even really need to read the directions. Everything is step by step guided by the unit once you plug it in and turn on the power. Obviously you can plug it in for longer movie watching but we like to be outdoors. Excellent projector and happy family and friends. I rarely write reviews, but as hard as I search for this model I feel what it has provided that it deserves a review. I wish they made a case for it.

I cannot believe how much of a quality of life improvement this has been!
The product arrived on time in really good condition. I am genuinely happy with the fact that the company that has made this has gone above and beyond to make sure you even get netflix despite netflix not being supported on a $2000 Epson projector. Image quality is really good and the sound quality is great for its size! setup took less than 5 minutes and most settings moved over automatically from my phone. Now, the entire setup in the picture costed me under $1500. That is roughly equivalent to 100 movie cinema tickets. For me, my wife and 2 of my friends that is 25 times going to cinema. The lamp on this projector will last you well beyond 25 x 3 hour movies! Plus you get to pause and chat, or drink and joke, or chill on a comfortable couch without having your knees in your face. You owe it to yourself to get this setup! it has been such a huge quality of life improvement for me, my family and friends.

Not worth the price!
Picture quality not upto the mark and HD movies were pixelating. The EPSON EF12 mini is a better one than this
